May 23-29

Monday, May 23 - Okay, little babies in glasses are pretty much the cutest thing ever!

Tuesday, May 24 - Ricki pic overload! I did Aunt Jean's nails today and the entire time, Ricki was begging me to do her "naoes"! I painted them and she put them under the lights. I didn't use gel polish so the light was just for fun but she was sure happy about it!

Wednesday, May 25 - It's graduation day! Little Zacky boy graduated from Mountainside Preschool for this year. I can't believe summer is almost here! I also can't believe that this kid is almost 5! Where does the time go?!?!?

Thursday, May 26 - I wish I had a picture of what we actually did today rather than this sleeping beauty. We had the wonderful opportunity of picking Grandma Howard up from the hospital as she's recovering from having a pacemaker placed. Her heartbeat was noted as low as 35 bpm which can be deadly. We are so happy that her heart will be functioning better! And I was very glad that I was the one that got the chance to go get her and help her until my mom came in the afternoon. I love my sweet grandma and am thankful I've been able to spend so much time with her lately!

Friday, May 27 - I bought a ladder kit in September (I think) and am now just getting around to getting it painted and put on my porch. These are my spring hangers. Yay! Viv came over and picked up Zack to go to their house and have a sleepover with Henry. They are watching him while his parents are on vacation in St. George. Zack loves Henry and they had lots of fun together!

Saturday, May 28 - First, happy birthday Grandma Sharon! Second, we had lots of fun at a combined Amie & Heather birthday dinner. The cute guy with Amie is her new love Pete. We really like him! We went to Salsa Leedos for dinner and had a great time visiting and catching up. I just don't get enough Amie time anymore so I'm glad our birthdays are close enough that we can justify a birthday dinner together!

Sunday, May 29 - I was subbing in Primary today and my cute hubby came in for just a moment to talk to me. While he was in there, I insisted that he play our singing game with us. Look how thrilled he was to participate! Haha, he was actually just fine with it! :)

May 16-22

Monday, May 16 - Since Jenni and BJ are in crunch time for packing up and moving their house, we came to Grandma Howard's to mow, have dinner with her, and do family night. I can feel that mowing is becoming one of my favorite things to do! (Especially since I don't do any work!)

Tuesday, May 17 - I don't know if I can put into words the craziness that was today. My morning started out with my mom texting Jenni and I with the first picture saying that she thought her ankle was broken. I thought so too so I told her to stay put and that I was on my way to get her to take her to the doctor. We went and had it x-rayed but it wasn't broken so it's just a nasty sprain. It couldn't have had worse timing though. Today was McCullough moving day! Mom & I took lunch over to Jenni's then I ran her home and got back to Jenni's around 3:00 to finally start helping. There was still a lot to do so I went to work. We boxed things, cleaned things, and moved things out into trailers. The young men and women plus a handful of adult leaders and neighbors all came to help. I had to leave at 6:15 to pick up my big kids, meet Simon at home, and take Nick to Pack Meeting. By the time we got back around 8:00, almost everything was done. There were just a few items left in the basement and the garage. That was it! Thank heaven for loving ward members that are willing to give up their evening to help move. I am happy to report that they are all moved out and ready to have their new house painted and carpeted so they can move in.

Wednesday, May 18 - I got to go to the school with my younger kids to have lunch with my big kids for Kendra's birthday. Yes, her birthday was a full month ago but the school only does this once per month and we were off track during her birthday month. It is always fun to go to the school and see the kids interact with their friends. Plus, it's still okay to be seen with your mom when you're in 4th and 2nd grade.

Thursday, May 19 - I had a really busy day! I ran in the morning, cleaned the house all day, then ran errands this evening. I don't usually get much over 15,000 on my good days so this was a surprise when I nearly hit 20,000!

Friday, May 20 - I took myself birthday shopping! Grandma and Jim gave me money for an Alex and Ani bracelet so these are the two I picked. Love them! I also went to RunGr8 in Riverton and bought me some new running shoes...from Simon. :) It's been a good birthday year!

Saturday, May 21 - Ryan did our taxes for us this year and last so we wanted to take him and Ashley out to say thank you. We dropped all 5 kids off at Dave & Viv's then headed over to the Cheesecake Factory. We had a 90 minute wait but once we were in, it was so worth it!

Sunday, May 22 - Simon is pretty proud of his most recent online purchase. He bought a surveillance camera for our front door. He gets notified every time there is movement on our porch. He now gets to see how often the neighborhood kids come over to play. :) It's a fun new little toy!

May 9-15

Monday, May 9 - I spent a few hours getting this invitation ready for our upcoming family reunion. I love my new Photoshop program!

Tuesday, May 10 - Simon took the day off to "help me get my to-do list crossed off". We started the day off at the park for Zack's preschool's Teddy Bear Picnic. After that, I worked in the house while Simon worked out in the yard getting this sprinkler fixed. Like, he was out there from 11 am until 11 pm. Needless to say, none of my "to-do list" was crossed off! :)

Wednesday, May 11 - If you know me, you know I love my birthday! Here is a good reason why! The awesome girls in my ward came over, kidnapped me, and took me to a surprise party at Erin's house! It was so much fun!!! I love surprises and I love these gals so much! I have the greatest friends in the world!

Thursday, May 12 - I sent Simon to Sam's Club to pick up a few groceries. This was the picture I got from his excursion!

Friday, May 13 - Kendra participated in the 2nd grade Wax Museum at her school. She did her report on Helen Keller and had a few lines memorized to tell about her. Isn't she the cutest Helen?

Saturday, May 14 - Nick had his piano recital and did a fabulous job! He played two pieces that were completely memorized and he did a fantastic job on both! We were thankful to have lots of family come for his special recital. We are sad to lose Catherine Cummins as a teacher. She has taught Nick so much over the past two years. We will miss her but we're excited to get started with Kayla Hebertson. Good job Nick!

Sunday, May 15 - Happy birthday to me! :) Since I didn't get breakfast in bed for Mother's Day, Kendra came in my room this morning with hot pancakes in bed. Yum! The day was wonderful and ended at my parent's house with a BBQ and lots of fun gifts. Hooray for birthdays!

May 2-8

Monday, May 2 - Now that Ricki can climb out of her crib, she's having a really hard time with sleeping at night. She started out in Zack's bed then we moved her to her crib around 10:00. When we went to go to bed around 12:00, we found her half way under her crib! This could get interesting!

Tuesday, May 3 - Zack learned to ride his bike without training wheels. He's not completely steady yet though and keeps crashing. He has skinned his knees several times and came in crying today with a skinned up elbow. Poor guy!

Wednesday, May 4 - Is this really happening? She takes off her pants and diaper and goes in the bathroom to sit on the princess potty. The potty sings a song when it gets wet - you'd really think it was Christmas when she goes! She LOVES it! I don't know if I'm ready yet though...

Thursday, May 5 - The ladies and I were going to go to the movies but when we got there, the show we went to see was sold out. We opted for yummy ice cream at Leatherby's instead! I was glad we made that choice - yum!!!

Friday, May 6 - We're in trouble! This black screen of doom means that our hard drive is on it's last leg and that we are going to need a new computer sooner than later. Time to get shopping!

Saturday, May 7 - Nick, Kendra, and I went on a date. We went to see Taylor Alba in a fun production of 'Much Ado About Nothing-Hawaiian Style'. It was fun being there with my kiddos and exposing them to a bit of culture. Plus, Taylor was adorable in it!

Sunday, May 8 - Today was the best Mother's Day because I was surrounded in love by these sweet faces. They all spoiled me rotten! Simon gave me a storm door too so I had a pretty great day! I'm so thankful for my mom, grandmas, and sister for showing me how to raise my kids in love and patience. Happy Mother's Day!

Apr 25-May 1

Monday, April 25 - Dave and Viv just got brand new little chicks. There are four of them: Sweep, Sooty, Nugget, and Myrtle. They are so darn cute and soft. The kids just love to hold them!

Tuesday, April 26 - The weather was rainy so Kenny got called off from work. However, it was just lightly drizzling so he came over and helped me pull my mountain of weeds in the back then transplanted my two Rose of Sharon plants. I was so happy he came to help! Tonight, after card exchange, we kidnapped Marisa for her birthday (TODAY!) and saw a movie. It was called "The Huntsman" and I really liked it.

Wednesday, April 27 - My poor Kendra girl. I got a call on Monday afternoon from her teacher saying that she was having trouble breathing. I worried that it was seasonal allergies so I picked her up from school. That night, she started throwing up and kept throwing up until Tuesday afternoon. Finally, when she still wasn't feeling well on Wednesday, I took her to the doctor. Her oxygen saturation level was in the low to mid 80's. Luckily, after a few steroids and breathing treatments, she got feeling much better!

Thursday, April 28 - Zack had a preschool field trip to the Conservation Gardens in West Jordan. We enjoyed walking around and looking at/touching all the different flowers and bushes. Kendra still wasn't feeling 100% so she went on the field trip with us!

Friday, April 29 - I baked a bunch of cupcakes for Kendra's baptism and had them all on the counter to cool. I turned my back on them for about one minute and turned around to that cute little face and a half of a cupcake.

Saturday, April 30 - Happy baptism day to Kendra!! Her baptism was beautiful and so spiritual. Afterward, we went to another church in our stake and had a luncheon. It was one of my favorite days ever! I hope she remembers it for the rest of her life.

Sunday, May 1 - Happy (belated) birthday to BJ! We celebrated his big day at my parent's house. We always have to get a fun picture of the birthday person blowing out their candles! :)
