June 20 - 26

Monday, June 20 - Welcome baby Finley McKell Pearson! She was born at 4:09 am, 6 lbs 14 oz, 19.5" long. She is perfect!! She's so tiny and beautiful! I can't hardly stand knowing that it will be almost a month before I can hold her. Congratulations to the new parents! This little miracle baby is lucky to be born to such a wonderful couple.

Tuesday, June 21 - Baby Finley goes home! Dave & Viv went to Vegas to be there when Finley came home. Look how tiny she is in her little carseat! So sweet!!

Wednesday, June 22 - Can you figure out what is missing? Her front tooth! Nothing like waiting until you're 8 years old to finally lose your front tooth! This is only tooth #3. She has a bunch more to lose before she's done. Sweet girl!

Thursday, June 23 - We had our quarterly Relief Society activity at the William's pool. It was such a fun and relaxing activity. We enjoyed swimming, hot tubbing, and just visiting. It was lots of fun!

Friday, June 24 - Happy 2nd Birthday to my sweet little Ricki! I really can't believe she's already 2. How does time go so fast? Grandma Howard took us to lunch and shopping for Ricki and Zack's birthdays. It was a fun day celebrating our sweetheart!

Saturday, June 25 - I almost have no words for this picture. Kenny and Katie relapsed. This is Kenny picking up his clothes and some toiletries after being picked up from detox and on his way to rehab. The kids and I stayed at my parent's house from Wednesday to Saturday while mom and dad were on trek. It's been a horrible and stressful week. Remember how if he keeps doing drugs, he will for sure die? Well....

Sunday, June 26 - I texted a bunch of pictures to a bunch of friends and family asking their opinion as to whether I should make a valence for my front room window. The response was overwhelmingly yes! So here it is!

June 13 - 19

Monday, June 13 - I am gearing up for the 4th of July with patriotic nails. Have I ever mentioned July is my favorite month of the year? I love the heat, the festivities, the family time...I love everything about July! June is treating me pretty good too though! :)

Tuesday, June 14 - I needed a date night and I needed the temple. I had Viv watch the kids while Simon & I went to Cubby's for dinner then the temple to do sealings. I needed the wonderful peace that the temple brings into my life.

Wednesday, June 15 - Today's summer movie was "Pan". I really really like that show! Sweet Ricki slept most of the way through it but the rest of us enjoyed it.

Thursday, June 16 - Nick went back to school yesterday and today to perform in his 4th grade program. They did a wonderful job and the songs were so cute! This is his final day with Mrs. Burke. She's been a great teacher and I know this kid will miss her next year!

Friday, June 17 - Commence summer of fun! This is the crazy crew on our way to Thanksgiving Point. We decided to buy an annual membership and go at least once a week this summer. With an annual pass, we'll also be able to go when the kids are off track this year.

Saturday, June 18 - Cute Lizzy Sainsbury recruited Kendra to be in the Mini Cheer group for the Herriman parade this year. She had SO MUCH FUN learning the cheers and routines. She went on the parade float and performed. It was so fun to see my little girl in the parade.

Sunday, June 19 - Happy Father's Day to all of the wonderful men in my life: Dad, Grandpa's, Dave, BJ, Ryan...and soon to be Gary! Alexis was induced today and we were hoping baby girl would make her arrival today to make this a special Father's Day for Gary. Alas, she enjoys her warm, cozy space and decided to wait to make an appearance.

June 6-12

Monday, June 6 - There is nothing worse than a sick baby. She had a high fever and was just miserable and grouchy. Poor baby girl! Luckily, it passed quickly.

Tuesday, June 7 - First thing, today was the last day of school! Yay!! Summer is here! As the Enrichment Leader, I felt like our ward could benefit from a gardening class. Jenn Crawford's sweet parents came and taught us about gardening, planting, and soil. It was so good! I wished more people would have come. Maybe we'll have to do it again next year in the early spring.

Wednesday, June 8 - One of our favorite summer activities is going to the summer movie clubhouse at The District. Today's feature - "Minions". The kids love it and so do I...even if they are children's movies. Hooray for summer!

Thursday, June 9 - So...my tooth broke! Bummer! I had little pieces like this coming out all day long. I feel some dental work coming on. Also, Zack picked up whatever bug Ricki had. Luckily, it seems to only last about 12 hours but in the meantime, he had a super high fever and just felt yucky. Poor guy. I'm so glad it was short-lived. I hope none of the other kids get sick!

Friday, June 10 - Ever since Nick and Kendra got their kayaks for their birthdays, they've been begging me to take them to the reservoir. We finally made it today with their cousins. They had a blast!! This afternoon, my dad took all the boys to a golfing demonstration and dinner. They each got swag bags and a new golf club! So fun! Mom dropped them off at the school just in time for us to go to the school's fundraiser movie under the stars. We sat outside, ate pizza and popcorn, and watched the movie "Zootopia". It was a crazy but fun-filled day!

Saturday, June 11 - Kendra's gymnastics year is coming to an end. This was her gymnastics performance and she did wonderful! Her BFF Savannah Erickson came to support her too.

Sunday, June 12 - At Sunday dinner tonight, we got some really exciting news. Gary & Alexis are moving back to Utah on July 16! We are so excited to have them back in town and closer to us. Especially with baby girl on the way!

May 30 - June 5

Monday, May 30 - Happy Memorial Day! I am so thankful for the men and women that fought and fight for the freedoms that I enjoy and sometimes take for granted. On our day off, we went to Lowe's, Home Depot, and IFA to gather things to help our garden. On the way out of IFA, I snapped this picture so that I could remember the name and call later for information about beginning sewing classes. I would like to be able to sew better so I'm hoping this place can help me out. :)

Tuesday, May 31 - Marisa and I have talked about doing nails a million times. We've just really never gotten around to doing it until today! How cute did her toes turn out?!?! After her nails were done, we went to Cubby's for lunch. YUMMERS! It's one of my new favorite restaurants. Fun day with a good friend and our sweet kiddos.

Wednesday, June 1 - Amie and I were talking about the Waffle Love truck and how everyone has eaten there but me. She sent me pictures of her kids at Waffle Love so I sent her a picture of my lovely homemade waffle. It was good but I'm anxious to try Waffle Love.

Thursday, June 2 - I know this is lame but neither Jessie or I thought to take a picture at our Relief Society dessert night. It was super fun to get together with my Relief Society friends, visit, eat delicious strawberry shortcake, and relax. I seriously love my birthday!!

Friday, June 3 - I have been trying to figure out what kind of shelves I wanted to get for our shoes. The bins that I originally had in mind are just not working out. At first, I bought book shelves from Walmart but that was relatively expensive and we would need to fabricate extra shelves to accommodate all of our shoes. I finally did a Google search and found these ones at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. We have purchased 3 so far and I hope to get one more soon. I spent a couple of hours today putting the shelves together so that we can start organizing!

Saturday, June 4 - SO much happened today! I can't believe that these are the only pictures I have. First of all, we started the day with Amie's kids at our house. I babysat them while Amie was in school for a few hours.  After Amie came and got them, my family and I went over to Jenni and BJ's new house to help them move in. It was quite the production! Their new house is amazing! I love it!! We stayed and helped until about 5:15 then had to rush to get to dinner for Jessie's birthday. Her actual birthday is tomorrow but we celebrated with a fun couple's dinner at Cafe Rio in honor of her. I love every minute spent with our ward friends. They are some of my closest friends now and I don't know what I'd do without them! Happy birthday Jess!

Sunday, June 5 - It's official, the McCullough's have moved in! This was taken just before their family went to church in their new ward for the first time. We are so happy for them!
