Feb 21 - 27

Monday, February 21 - Today was the last day of the St. George tournament. Unfortunately, Zack's team didn't make it to the finals but Henry's team won their division! Henry had a late game so we couldn't leave St. George until around 7:30. A lot of our team left earlier in the day and we kept hearing reports that the weather was super bad and if you we didn't have to leave tonight, to stay put. We decided to stay another night and try to make it home in enough time for me to work tomorrow...which didn't happen. :( It was a great weekend though and so much fun watching these boys play!

Tuesday, February 22 - We made it home around 1:30 pm today and we were glad we stayed the extra night. The roads were just fine but it took some people up to 7 hours to travel home last night. It was so worth it! Simon & I went to a Copper Mountain Soccer Coach's event tonight with Seth & Jessie Price. It was so fun! They had dinner catered by Village Baker then we watched the move "Uncharted". What a nice, fun, and free date night!!

Wednesday, February 23 - I painted my nails today and as soon as I finished I thought, "these are totally Liz nails"! Haha! I sent her a picture and of course, she loved them! They are totally Liz's jam!

Thursday, February 24 - Amie and I were finally able to put on our very first Book Club! I made this invitation and thought it was so fun...until I realized I never put a time on it! Haha! It was fun. We had Jenni, Mom, Amie, and Amie's friend Dana there for the first time and I think we came up with a pretty good list of books to choose from for the upcoming months. I am glad we are finally doing this!

Friday, February 25 - Another day, another plasma donation. I have enjoyed the "free time" of donating plasma as well as the pay and the feeling like I am helping someone. I took a picture of the plasma because I couldn't believe how much they take out! And your body can regenerate this in 48 hours! So crazy!! This is allowing me to go back on my diet plan and coach with Optavia!

Saturday, February 26 - We had a big day! We went to lunch with my family at Las Glorias. Simon and I had to drive separate and the girls came home with me. On the way home, Kendra said that she has really been wanting to get her hair cut. I hopped online and made an appointment with Super Cuts and got her right in! She cut about 8" off and she looks darling! Tonight, we had the privilege of going to see baby Brooks. They moved him into a room with lower windows so Alexis was able to hold him up to the window and we looked in on him. He is such a doll!

Sunday, February 27 - It's Great to be 8! WE had our baptism preview tonight and it was a success! All of these adorable kiddos will be baptized this year! We are sure looking forward to Ricki's baptism in July!

Feb 14 - 20

Monday, February 14 - Happy Valentine's Day! We had to make a box for Zack and since we did it a little last-minute, we did the good ole' face box! :) Good thing he's so darn cute!! Ricki had a great day at school and enjoyed going through her bag of fun Valentine candy and toys!

Tuesday, February 15 - Ricki begs me every day to paint her nails. I finally agreed today. She chose blue glitter with an accent pink glitter nail. I didn't think it would be so cute but I actually do like how they turned out! :) They will be fun for the weekend cheering on Zacky at his soccer tournament in St. George! The bright blue is his team/league color.

Wednesday, February 16 - I am getting my food ready to go for the weekend. I'm hoping to stick to my plan and not go too far off with eating out. We'll see how it goes (crossing my fingers).

Thursday, February 17 - I cannot believe this little guy is already two months old! He is doing great and growing bigger and stronger each day. They are starting to try to feed him so that they can take his feeding tube out and hopefully send him home soon. We love you Brooks!

Friday, February 18 - Enjoying my favorite place...St. George! We came down for a soccer tournament for Zack but luckily, we were able to come a day early and enjoy our time here! Dave & Viv rode with us so Zack slept over at Ryan and Ashley's and will join us tomorrow. We had a nice day of relaxation, walks in the park, and swimming. Ahhhh, the joys!!

Saturday, February 19 - Let the tournament begin! We were part of the Ice Breakers Tournament and so was Henry. We got to go see him play first thing today (they won!) then headed over to warm up and play our (Zack's) first game. The team made these awesome shirts in honor of Coach Sean and we all showed up to the first game in them. They say "Coach Sean; Do Good, Be Good". It was a really special time for the team to come together. Unfortunately, we lost both games today. :( It was fun having Jenni, Halle, and Brielle as well as Ryan, Henry, Ruby, Grandma, and Grandpa Pearson come watch the second game. It was a busy but super fun sports day!

Sunday, February 20 - It seems a little sacrilegious but we had breakfast at "Bishop's" today on Sunday. :) That sweet roll is just so worth taking a picture of! Afterward, we drove around and did a little exploring of St. George. We went to the Snow Canyon overlook as well as drove up to the Dixie sign that looks over old St. George. Another perfect day in paradise!

Feb 7 - 13

Monday, February 7 - Check out sweet Brooks! He is doing amazing and growing so much. Every time I see pictures of him, he is bigger and just looks healthier. I just cannot wait to meet him!

Tuesday, February 8 - I did mom's nails today and they turned out kind of fun. I love the pink glitter finger with the other cute nails! Love is in the air!!

Wednesday, February 9 - Zack had a big doctor appointment today. We finally were able to get him in to see an Endocrinologist, Dr. Ramen. They did X-rays of his hands to determine bone age, drew blood to check that his growth hormones are at normal levels, and just did a comprehensive physical. He looks healthy but we have to wait a few weeks to find out the results.

Thursday, February 10 - Mom took us swimming for our annual February family swim night. I didn't get many pictures but here are some cute ones of Jake, Nick, and Grandma. Such a fun night and fun memories that we love to make!

Friday, February 11 - Kendra, Ricki, and Zack were invited to Brielle's birthday party so we took them over to Jenni's then Simon & I had a date night. We just went over to Kneader's for a salad and sandwich. After the party, we had Halle sleepover at our house and Zack & Ricki stayed at Jenni's. What a fun Friday night!

Saturday, February 12 - I spent some time today getting these nightlights ready to take around for birthdays after church tomorrow. I love how they turned out!

Sunday, February 13 - Dad requested a salsa bar and tacos for dinner for his birthday; which worked out great because it's also the Superbowl! We loved celebrating him and Brielle, whose actual birthday was today, and then dad surprised us with our Valentine's gift. We all got dinner on daddy and tickets to Time Out For Women in November. I can't wait!

Jan 31 - Feb 6

Monday, January 31 - Us ladies went to breakfast today to plan our upcoming girls trip. We decided we would do our trip in the spring so that it doesn't interfere with our trip with mom in the fall. It was just fun to get together and visit. It's been too long!

Tuesday, February 1 - Happy 11th birthday to our sweet Halle girl! She is a ray of sunshine in our family and I can't believe she is getting so old!

Wednesday, February 2 - Oh Zacky Boy! He has some teeth STUFF we are starting now. It looks like it's going to be a pretty long process. We are starting out with a "motion appliance" which is the new technology for head gear. He wears bands from the bottom back teeth to the front brackets that you can see to move his bottom jaw forward. His underbite is almost an inch off! They really have so much work to do! :) This is just part one of phase one of braces for him. This part will be 4-6 months. Then, he will get braces on his top teeth to hopefully pull the bottoms of the teeth back so they don't protrude as much. Later, after work, I met up with Candace and Melanie. We haven't gotten together in almost two years! What?!?! It was SO nice to get together and catch up with them. I love these life-long friends of mine!

Thursday, February 3 - Tonight was a sad event. We took Zack to Sean's viewing at his stake center. It is just still so sad. :( We went through the line, saw Megan, his wife, then went in the gym and saw Owen. Luckily, Owen seems okay and still in good spirits but we're going to rally around him while their family goes through this.

Friday, February 4 - This was a busy day! While I went to work, Simon and Zack went to Sean's funeral. Simon took this cute picture of Zack in front of his team in their blue (Sean loved BYU) at their most recent practice. I was sad I couldn't be there but I couldn't miss another day of work. After work, I went to the older Activity Days group to make sure they were doing well and to help out. Tonight, I went with Marisa, her sister Carmen, and her friend Melinda to dinner at the Blue Lemon and then a movie. We saw "355", which was good but it was mostly just fun to be out with friends for the night.

Saturday, February 5 - Kendra got invited to Halle's birthday party tonight. The rest of us just had a nice night in but she had a blast hanging out with Halle and her friends.

Sunday, February 7 - We celebrated our cute niece's birthdays tonight! I made them a simple cake and we partied hard! I even shoved a piece of cake in Trevan's face...because he told me he doesn't like cake!!! Don't say that to me! Grrr! Haha! We had a good time celebrating them!
