Sep 19 - 25

Monday, September 19 - The first picture is before the parent-torment begins! :) The kids love the color run every year; the parents tolerate it! Haha! No, it's all in good fun! The chalk goes everywhere and Simon even made them walk home this time! Obviously Zack and Jax found the chalk supply and took full advantage of the hot pink! Silly kids!

Tuesday, September 20 - Poor Ricki got stung by a bee yesterday at recess and she was complaining about it as she went to bed last night. She showed it to me today and I was shocked at how big the welt was from it! Poor girl! It does look like it hurts really bad!

Wednesday, September 21 - Mom and Jenni came to my house around 12:30 to pick me up and start my favorite time of year...GIRL'S Trip!! We had lunch at Cafe Rio on our way out then stopped by Lehi Bakery. We went to dinner at The Pizza Factory and watched a movie. Mom bought these cute sage shirts and asked me if I thought I'd be able to put something on them before we came. I found this cute image on Etsy and was able to make them just in time. So fun!!

Thursday, September 22 - We slept in this morning then got up and got ready. We wanted to introduce the Mexican restaurant that we went to with Meg and Marisa to mom. She loved it as much as we did! We went shopping for a while and galivanted around the town. Tonight, we headed out to Tuacahn to see a play. It was called "Wonderland" and honestly, we didn't love it. Alice in Wonderland is already kind of a weird story so add the theatrics to it and it was a little too much! But of course, we still had lots of fun being there together!

Friday, September 23 - Today was another day full of food and fun! We started out this morning at Kneader's for French toast - my fave! Then, we ventured out to Bob & Laura's new house just South of St. George. Of course, it's beautiful!! This afternoon, we had dinner at Olive Garden, sat in the hot tub for a while, did toenails, and watched home movies. It's always such a blast with these two!

Saturday, September 24 - Although we were going home today, we had a fun-filled day! We had a quick breakfast at McD's on our way back out to Tuachan. We stopped at some yard sales along the way then walked the whole length of the Tuachan Saturday Market. When we got back to the house to finish cleaning, we took pictures of all of our purchases from the weekend. We stopped on the way home to eat at The Creamery. Mom clearly got the giggles...I don't even remember over what! We finished off with an ice cream cone and got home around 9:00. What a great trip! I hate that the next one is now a year away but I can't wait!

Sunday, September 25 - From girl's trip yesterday to Disneyland today! What is my life this week!?! :) Liz took all of us girls on one last hurrah to California/Disneyland. Since we flew in this morning, we were not going to go to Disney but Liz changed her mind so we have a 3-day park hopper pass. This is going to be funnnnn!

Sep 12 - 18

Monday, September 12 - All four kids had well-checks today at Dr. Crowell's. I wouldn't have pictures at all but Ricki got a hold of my phone and took about 50! So thanks Ricki! :) Nick, Zack, and Ricki were able to do Flu Mist instead of flu shots but because Kendra has asthma, she had to get the shot. Nick was trying to distract her from what was happening which is why she is laughing while getting her shot! Afterward, they asked for ice cream and after all of that, how could I say no? We stopped for ice cream on our way back to school.

Tuesday, September 13 - Ahhhh, more fun at Livy & Kate Clothing. This is just so much...it's mind-boggling. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and they tell me that this is the worst it gets throughout the whole year. Luckily, I have worked in a boutique before so I fully understand that! I worked until about 2:30 then came home and spent a ridiculous amount of time on this banner. Marisa, Jessie, and I are throwing Summer Mortensen a bridal shower and the theme is "She Found Her Main Squeeze". More pics to come...

Wednesday, September 14 - Here again, I spent the day doing what I love - decorating sugar cookies! Can't wait to see how they turn out and for Summer's shower!

Thursday, September 15 - Her shower is here! All three of us decorated but Jessie definitely went above and beyond! The food was cute, the theme was cute, and the bride-to-be was cute! I am so happy for Summer and Dean! They are such a beautiful couple and I'm excited to see where they go and what they do together.

Friday, September 16 - Friday Night Lights!! We came to see Trevan and Jake play tonight. They both did great! Poor Trevan tackled someone and dislocated his shoulder. He ran to the side with his arm flopping around and he was in pain. They popped that bad boy back in and before we knew it, he was as good as new! Unfortunately though, they lost the game. :( They are a good team, this is just a fluke.

Saturday, September 17 - Zack's soccer team went out on the field at tonight's game for "Tournament of Kings". Then, they got to stay for the game. Simon got one extra ticket so he invited Ricki (since Kendra went last week). Very last-minute, Simon was able to swing one more ticket so Kendra got to go too. Nick and Tayah went to Homecoming tonight. They had a big fun group! They went to dinner, the dance, then a haunted house afterward. What a fun night!

Sunday, September 18 - "Look at our sticker faces mom!" Haha! Love these girls!!

Sep 5 - 11

Monday, September 5 - I spent most of the day today making and decorating cookies for a bridal shower Jenni is helping to throw. While I was inside doing that, Simon and Kendra were outside getting the patio lights put up on the gazebo. I love how it turned out and can't wait to spend some evenings out here enjoying this new setup.

Tuesday, September 6 - Ricki has this mysterious scratch under her eye that looks infected. I noticed it a week or so ago and asked her about it but it keeps getting more red and seems to be deeper. I finally took her to the doctor this morning and he prescribed her some ointment to heal it up. It's such a weird thing though. Here is the finished product of the cookies I made for Jenni. I am happy with how they turned out and Jenni seemed pleased too. :)

Wednesday, September 7 - Grandma Sharon came over today and I helped her with some samples for her upcoming Super Saturday. There were a lot of them but all we mostly did was put vinyl on them. It was so fun spending the day with her. Tonight was Ricki and Bridget's first night at their new dance/tumbling studio, Tiffany Dance Co. I never expected Ricki to be in tears about me dropping her off and leaving. I felt so bad! However, the last picture is right after dance. That's a pretty big smile for someone that was so upset about going in the first place.

Thursday, September 8 - Sweet Grandma Sharon took me golfing today! We met my mom and her cousin Janet at Fore Lakes Golf Course and played 9 holes. It was so fun! I'm terrible at golf but I think if I did it more, I would get a lot better! While I was out today, our new air fryer came. We had to return our old one due to a recall (they can start on fire) so we just ordered this new one. The baskets are really small so I don't know how I will feel about that but otherwise, it seems pretty cool. Nick was the most excited for its arrival!

Friday, September 9 - We had Taysom and Beckham again today for a few hours. They are such cute boys! They were obsessed over sitting on Simon's 4-wheeler! :) We ran around and played outside until their mom came to get them. We love these little guys!

Saturday, September 10 - Simon took the boys last night up to the fathers and sons ward campout. They had a great time and Nick was even able to see Jackson Nyholm for a while. I'm glad they were able to go have some fun together. Tonight, Simon had an extra ticket for a Real game so and Kendra went and enjoyed it while I stayed home with Zack and Ricki. We didn't have Nick...he was working at Chick-Fil-A. They had a fun time at the game while we stayed in and watched a movie. Perfect!

Sunday, September 11 - On this somber day in our country, our family decided to go to Silver Lake for our annual picnic. It was just beautiful up there and still pretty warm! We had dinner then walked around the lake together. It was so much fun and extra great to have Dave and Viv with us. I love my family!
