Sept 19-25

Monday, September 19 - I have heard a million things about Waffle Love but never experienced one for myself. When I heard the Waffle Love truck was going to be at the kids' school for the fun run, I had to get me one. Yum! It really was so good!!!

Tuesday, September 20 - Amy Erickson, Marisa, and I went to a fun nail store. They sell this polish display stand and I've been looking for one. It was only $20 so I was glad to get it! Look how many polishes I have!!! It's become somewhat of an addiction! :)

Wednesday, September 21 - GIRL'S TRIP!!!! My favorite time of year!!! We left after mom got off work today. We stopped in Cedar City for some Cafe Rio then made it to St. George by about 9:00. Let the fun begin!

Thursday, September 22 - We took Laura to breakfast at a new little diner we've never been to before. It was called DeDe's and it was super cute. It was nice of Laura to let us stay at her place overnight. While we're away, Simon, BJ, and the kids will play...at Sam's Club! Lunch date!! :)

Friday, September 23 - So, as you can tell, a lot of what we do on Girl's Trip is eat. :) We had Chili's today and man, it was yummy!! Tonight, we went to visit our old friends, the Davies. Their home is just beautiful and they were so cordial and welcoming to us. It was really fun to get to visit with them for a while.

Saturday, September 24 - Sweet Laura let us bombard her (and her pool) again. We went swimming and hot tubbing in her gorgeous back yard, went home and showered, then came back to watch Women's Conference with her. What a fun way to spend our Saturday!!

Drinking problems much??

Sunday, September 25 - Last day. :( BOO! We went to sacrament meeting with Laura and then hit the road to come home. This was a fun and memorable girl's trip again. Can't wait for next year!

Sept 12-18

Monday, September 12 - Mamma got hurt! She jumped down from riding her bike and the pedal got her right over the shin. She sent me a pretty gruesome picture and asked if she needed stitches. Umm...yes! She got about 5 stitches there in the middle and then steristrips on the rest of the gaping wound. Poor lady! She at least made it to bowling after this whole ordeal!

Tuesday, September 13 - So...this happened. Of course it wasn't on MY iPad! It HAD to be Simon's! Sweet Ricki is a wrecking ball! She breaks almost everything she touches! Silly girl!

Wednesday, September 14 - Soccer! Zacky is playing with two of his favorite friends, Chase and Anna. They are so darn cute! I just love watching them run and try to kick the ball. Soccer isn't my favorite sport...until one of my kids is playing it. Then suddenly, I can't get enough!

Thursday, September 15 - OCD much? I was tired of not being able to find my measuring spoons in the cup that I keep them in so I decided to organize them. I am loving it!!!

Friday, September 16 - Kendra got invited to Kate and Ellie's birthday party at Boondocks. She was so excited to get to be there with her cute friends. I am so glad they always include Kendra. Kendra just loves them both! We had a scary call tonight - Katie was in the hospital. She had a bit too much to drink at a wedding and ended up needing emergency medical care. We were so glad to hear that she was going to be okay.

Saturday, September 17 - Happy birthday to Chase Coles! Zack was invited to his birthday party today and he had a blast! Tonight was MACU's employee celebration. They always put on a pretty rockin' party! This year was no exception! It was a "Denim and Diamonds" theme and it was amazing! They even had a magician/mentalist come and he was seriously so amazing!!! Fun date night for us!

Sunday, September 18 - Happy 26th birthday to my little bro! I just can't help but be so grateful that we made it to this birthday! Last year at this time was a nightmare. He's doing so great now, I am just so thankful! We had a fun birthday for Kenners at my parent's house. They invited Katie's whole family so it was a big, happy celebration!

Sept 5-11

Monday, September 5 - Happy Labor Day! I can't believe fall is already upon us! The Olson's invited us and a couple other families over for a BBQ. It was way fun and included s'mores to top the evening off. I love end of summer BBQ's and friends!

Tuesday, September 6 - I know my week will is crazy so I decided to get my birthday tags for card exchange done early. We only had to do 3 but I was feeling extra spunky so I did 7. :) I am so glad to have them done so that now I can move on to other things.

Wednesday, September 7 - Nick went with his scout group on a hike to pass off some Webelos requirements. I am so glad he's making such great friends here in our ward.

Thursday, September 8 - I got a new shirt and tried a new hairdo. I used a styling wand today. I like the curls but man it's a lot of work!

Friday, September 9 - We FINALLY found some time to hang out with the Fraser crew. Simon is at scout camp tonight so we met Amie and her kids over at a park in Daybreak. We had pizza then let the kids run free until it got too dark to keep track of all 7 of them. I am super thankful for the time I got to spend visiting with Amie. It's been too long since we've been together!

Saturday, September 10 - A house divided...Today was the BYUtah game. I didn't take any pictures at the fun party we attended but here is my cute sister decked out in her 1/2 BYU 1/2 Utah shirt. So cool! P.S. As a side note, UTAH WON!!!!

Sunday, September 11 - Happy birthday Jakob! We celebrated Jake's birthday at his house tonight. He was pretty excited about this new gun he got! Also, today is the 15th anniversary of the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York. 15 years!?!? Where did that time go?

Aug 29 - Sep 4

Monday, August 29 - We had our family pictures taken on Saturday. I ordered the prints today for them. I am so excited to get them back! I loved Thanksgiving Point where they were taken. Yay for new pictures!

Tuesday, August 30 - Okay, lame pic. But this is Jenni's $350 Scentsy party! Yay! I love when I get purple and white boxes on my doorstep!

Wednesday, August 31 - We finished his poster for the service project! Nick and Wil were so excited to share it with their class! They really had a great experience doing this service and Nick is talking about going back and taking gifts for all of the residents.

Thursday, September 1 - Look at that little bean! That is Ryan and Ashley's new baby (girl?!?!?). She's about 9 weeks along and due April 5. Not great timing for them as that is 10 days before the big tax deadline. Oh well, whenever baby Pearson makes her appearance, everyone will be thrilled!

Friday, September 2 - We watched this sweet little 14-month-old baby, Cooper, while his parents and grandparents went to Comic Con. He was so sweet and cuddly and happy, I could have just kept him forever! Kendra was in little baby heaven when she got home from school! :)

Saturday, September 3 - Kendra has been working on getting this tooth out for days! It finally came out. Now all she wants for Christmas is her two front teeth! :) Simon and I went on an adventure to Snowbird for our anniversary...a month or so late. We had all day activity passes so we took advantage of all Snowbird has to offer. It was super fun, minus the Octoberfest crowd!

Sunday, September 4 - Day 2 of our anniversary adventures. We rode the Alpine Slide a few times. It is so fun! Then we rode the Peruvian Tram to the Peruvian Tunnel at the top of the mountain. It was beautiful but very chilly! Tonight, we went to Dave & Viv's for dinner. Ricki took this beautiful picture of Gary & Finley. Every once in a while, amongst the hundreds of pictures she takes on my phone, she captures perfect moments.

Aug 22-28

Monday, August 22 - I was at the library with my kids when mom texted this picture to me. I started crying right there in the middle of the library! Poor little Kam! :*( He was at his grandpa's house and pulled a snow globe down right on his face. He got 5-6 stitches. Katie was at work so they called Kenny and he rushed to the hospital to hold his little boy while they stitched up his face. So sad!

Tuesday, August 23 - The start of something new...clean eating! This was Simon's lunch! This is day 1 and we are determined to change some bad habits we've gained. I'm very glad he is doing this with me! It's motivating!! Also motivating was vomiting everything in my stomach today. :( I think I got food poisoning so eating was NO temptation for me today! Haha!

Wednesday, August 24 - We had a school supply drive with the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary. A teacher from an under privileged school came and spoke to us then we sorted and organized the donations. The goal was to get 80 of each item but we surpassed that by at least double of most things. As far as books, I think there were several hundred! It was wonderful!

Thursday, August 25 - Nothing like waiting until the night before a book report is due to start working on it! Luckily, Nick read the book far in advance. We just hadn't put his project together yet which was a shirt with a drawing representing the book he read. He read "I Survived the Attack of September 11, 2001". I wanted him to read it to get an understanding of what happened. Especially with the 15-year milestone coming right up. It was really great talking to him about what happened while we worked on his shirt. And it turned out way better than I had imagined! It's just Sharpie marker, black, and gray acrylic paint. Believe it or not, he really did most of the work himself!

Friday, August 26 - Nick has another school project due next week. Yes, I think his teacher is trying to kill me! :) He and Wil Christensen teamed up to do service at the local nursing home. They went for a couple of hours a few weeks ago and read to the residents. Yesterday they got together to bake cookies then today they took them around to the people. Everyone was so sweet and so happy to see the kids' bright smiling faces. He is gaining so many valuable experiences!

Saturday, August 27 - I don't know exactly how I feel about this picture! I guess I'm glad that the boys went out and did something super fun together. All of the McCullough and Pearson boys went out to the West side of Utah Lake to go shooting. They had a blast! Bonus: us girls went to lunch with my parents! Las Glorias was SOOO good after a week of healthy clean eating! :)

Sunday, August 28 - We did our annual Silver Lake picnic. It was simply beautiful up there! We had lots of fun as a family. I really do love this tradition...once we get there. ;)

Aug 15-21

Monday, August 15 - We are running out of fun Mondays with Mom & Jenni! Today, we were going to go swimming but the weather was really bad! We decided to head over to Thanksgiving Point instead. Luckily, I get anyone that comes with me in for half price so it wasn't too expensive for everyone. The littles had a blast playing at the Curiosity Museum. I have been begging Nick to pull his tooth out! His new one is half way out but his old one was still hanging on. He was pushing it around with his tongue tonight and it suddenly just popped out! I was a happy mommy! :)

Tuesday, August 16 - My cute grandparents take me out to lunch every other week or so. We normally go to Chick-Fil-A but we wanted to do something different today. I had never been to Ruth's Diner in Immigration Canyon so we went there. It was super yummy and had a great atmosphere! I think I'll be going back sometime. It was lots of fun!!

Wednesday, August 17 - Before and after. I have been bugging Simon lately to put handles on my cupboards. I finally went to Home Depot, got everything he needed, and set it all on the counter. Just like that, it was done! And I LOVE THEM! It added so much to our kitchen and it is so nice to open the cupboards with handles than without!

Thursday, August 18 - I am trying with all my might to put together clothes for our family pictures. It's so hard matching everyone but not having everyone too matchy-matchy. I love Pinterest for ideas but then I have to find clothes to match the colors I like. I think I'm getting closer to what I want though.

Friday, August 19 - My entrepreneur, Nick, sent out invitations asking friends to come to a movie in his new "theater". He made me buy candy and separate it into small cups to sell to his friends for $.50 each. I was embarrassed to ask friends to pay but it was cute that Wil and Dylan came to support.

Saturday, August 20 - It was our annual Boehme reunion! They did it at a nice little park in South Jordan. It was very fun and the kids won all sorts of candy and prizes. I am always hesitant to go to these because I don't know the Boehme's very well but once we were there, I was glad we went!

Sunday, August 21 - Ryan carried Henry into the house against him. I didn't think much of that but when Ashley B-lined for the bathroom, I figured it out! She's pregnant!!!! It took Viv a minute to read his shirt but once she did, it was fun to see everyone's response! Henry is going to be a big brother! Yay!!!! We are so excited for more cousins!
