March 11
We've had beautiful weather for the past two or so weeks so it was annoying waking up to this! My poor parents woke up on their ship, put t-shirts and shorts on, then flew home. They were in for a rude surprise when the temp was around 36 here at home. It's nice to have them back though!

It's Sunday. I normally love the weekends but now that I love Jimmy Fallon too, the weekends are kind of long. Good thing my friend Amie keeps me stocked with awesome photos of Jimmy like this one. I can't help but laugh when I look at it!

My parent's dogs are the sweetest little things. In fact, they are so sweet, they brought us a thank-you gift for taking care of them while the parents are away. Yep...it's a dead bird. On the floor. In the house. That they killed. Once again, thank heaven for husbands and the things they do for us squeamish wives!

Kenny got another "day pass" from his recovery center so we were able to be with him all day. Jenni picked him up around 1:00 pm and he stayed with us until 7:00. We started at mom & dad's so that he could see and play with the dogs. We then headed to Trafalga Fun Center in Lehi. It was really fun and a completely free activity with our Pass of All Passes. After we played for a while, we met up with our husbands at Las Glorias for dinner. Yum! It was so fun to be with Kenny again and talk to him in even more depth about his treatments. We love our "Special K".

When we went on our Alaska cruise, I made my family listen to a book on CD, "Austenland". It was recently made into a movie. I saw it in the theater on a girl's night out but I have been dying to have Simon see it too. We finally rented it tonight and sat to watch it. It is hilarious! We really enjoyed it. Plus, I got my embroidery done for a Relief Society project they asked us to work on. Win-win!

Happy birthday Nick!! I can't believe I have an 8-year-old! I surprised Nick with his favorite dinner: "cook your own steak" (more commonly known as fondue), homemade fries, asparagus, and rolls. For dessert we had chocolate fondue and a bunch of goodies to dip in it. We had Dave & Viv over to enjoy our fun night with us. The fondue pot and huge table are the perks of staying at my parent's while they are out of town!

My sweet neighbor, Andrea Child, took a bunch of pictures of Nick for his baptism at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. She is an amazing photographer! We were very lucky to get this time with her and her beautiful daughter (who is my newest Activity Day girl), Sescily. Sescily's birthday is March 7.

This is me. I am 24 weeks pregnant. I look 38 weeks pregnant. I feel 42 weeks pregnant. I guess I'm still smiling so that's a good sign. I hope I can survive another 16 weeks!

I got a new visiting teaching route. I am sad to lose the ladies that I visited before but I have actually had a really hard time getting out and doing it since we moved. I am beyond excited to get to know my new partner, Jessie Price, and the three ladies that we will be visiting. I think this new arrangement will be a great change.

    1. I've had fun looking back over the past few weeks too. I'm glad you were able to get on here and look at it all. Now you know what we did while you were away. :)
