Monday, June 22
Mom had Grandma, Aunt Jean, Jenni, me, and all 8 grand kids over today.  It was lots of fun swimming, doing nails, having lunch, and just hanging out. We LOVE summer!
This boy is AMAZING!!! He didn't just hit the ball...he crushed it! We've been waiting for him to get that hit and wowie, he hit it clear into the outfield. He got an MVP award from his awesome coach and got a huge standing ovation by the crowd. SO. MUCH. FUN!!!

Tuesday, June 23
I kind of promised this kid the world if he got a hit so...tonight we had dinner at his favorite place - Texas Roadhouse. Our fabulous server brought him this container of peanuts to take home to congratulate him. He also got a new mitt and a sleepover with his cousins. Way to go Nick!

Wednesday, June 24
Happy first birthday to this beautiful baby girl! Ricki is my world and I simply cannot believe that an entire year has passed. She is a joy and a pleasure to have in our family.

Thursday, June 25
A really good big sister feeding her baby sister her first bowl of cereal with real milk. :)

Friday, June 26
We had a bunch of fun at our Relief Society "Pineapple Party" tonight. Marisa did such a great job!

Saturday, June 27
Busy day? Why yes. Yes, it was! We started off at Nick's tournament championship game. Unfortunately,  we played the same exact team that we lost the last championship game to and guess what? We lost again. :( Grrrr! So Nick got another 2nd place trophy (which is still super awesome). From there, we headed to Zack and Ricki's birthday party at Blackridge Reservoir. I think Ricki enjoyed her very own cake.

Sunday, June 28
St. George Vacation!! Yay!! Okay, so not REALLY Sunday cuz we shopped at midnight but Jenni, Mom, and I ran to Albertson's to get some morning supplies and we ended up finding some good deals (like $.99 for cereal) so we came home with a lot of food. This is day 1 of a VERY fun family vacation!

Monday, June 15
This was a crazy evening at baseball. The thunderstorm clouds rolled in right as the game was starting. I thought that they would cancel the game but to our surprise, they kept on playing! The kids and I sat in the car for a while waiting to see if it would pass. My parents even left early because the rain was so miserable. However, it ended up being a very great game! Nail biter to the very end! We won in the last inning! Yay!! I LOVE watching Nick play baseball!

Tuesday, June 16
Step one of our porch railing is in! Can't wait to have it done!!

Wednesday, June 17
We had such a great crowd at baseball tonight! These games are such a blast to watch! We are rooting for Nick to get a hit. He hasn't hit the ball since his first or second game. I've promised him pretty much the world if he gets a hit!

Thursday, June 18
I was working on laundry in the laundry room today flanked by my 3 older kids (yah, they follow me around). Suddenly, Ricki, who was in her crib playing with toys, started screaming. Since I was blocked between the dryer, counter, and kids, I sent Kendra to investigate what happened. When she brought Ricki back, her nose was a little bloody and her forehead had a bit of red rash on it. I asked what had happened and Kendra said she didn't know but she was crawling out of her door when she got in there. She fell out of her crib!!!! So sad! Needless to say, we lowered her crib to the lowest possible setting tonight.

Friday, June 19
We're in Mackay, Idaho! We had a nice day on the mine hill. We had a picnic lunch and did some exploring on the 4-wheelers. Later in the afternoon, Simon took his gun out to the shooting range and shot his hand gun for the first time ever. It scared me to death but he had fun shooting it.

Saturday, June 20
Another adventurous day in Mackay. We went to the fish hatchery - which was so very cool! On the way back, we stopped at the dam to check it out and snap some pics. Fun day!

Sunday, June 21
Happy Father's Day to all of the wonderful fathers in my life! I feel so bad that I didn't get a picture of Dave. It was a great day to honor these great men!

Monday, June 8
Last week of school! Hooray!! Today we had a "Pirate Picnic" at the splash park with Kendra's class. Afterward, we went to Nick's classroom to view their class movie. I love being at the school with my kids. I can't wait until next year when Zack goes to preschool so I can volunteer regularly again...although I'm sad Zacky only has one more year at home before Kindergarten.

Tuesday, June 9
Nick's and another class had a program today called "Rumpus in the Rainforest". It was such a cute program and his sweet teacher made me cry. She just loves Nick! I'm really sad (well, and happy at the same time) that this school year is coming to an end. Big thanks to Dave and my mom for coming to it. The support of our family means so much to us!

 Wednesday, June10
Last day of school! These are pics of Nick's first (right) and last (left) day of 3rd grade and Kendra's first (left) and last (right) day of 1st grade. Wow, we made it! And look how much Kendra has changed this year!!

Thursday, June 11
We played hard today since we had NO SCHOOL! We went to the reservoir with the Olson's but it got rainy so we ended up at Arctic Circle for yummy ice cream cones. The baby in the picture is Bridgett but if you look carefully in the background, that's my Ricki "enjoying" her first bite of ice cream. :)

Friday, June 12
First thing this morning, I got a call asking if Nanny's old flower couches were still for sale. Why yes, they still were! The people ran out right then and bought them. Yay! Our room is ready now for it's update!!
After that, we went downtown on Trax to Temple Square. We met the Merrill's and the Hortin's there. We walked around and got a personal tour by Doug who was the groundskeeper for several years at Temple Square. It was a fun but slightly exhausting day!

Saturday, June 13
Kendra had her final gymnastics performance today. It was so fun to watch! She has come such a long way in a year! My parents rented a park up in the canyons so we had an outdoor camping-type day. We had linner, a fire, and s'mores. Amie came up with us too so it was a fun day all around!

Sunday, June 14
This was Zack's first primary talk ever! He was so cute and did a fantastic job! The topic was "The Holy Ghost Helps Me Make Decisions".

Monday, June 1
Tonight, Nick had a baseball game (like most other nights) but he made an awesome play so he got a VIP necklace. The ball came out to him in left field. He scooped it right up, thought for a split second, then threw the ball to second base. The coach has been trying to teach them to do that and he did exactly what he was taught to do.Yay for Nick!

Tuesday, June 2
My sweet mom came over with this cute new outfit for Ricki. Doesn't she look so cute?!? Then tonight, I met Candace, Melanie, and Amie at Applebee's for dinner. I love these gals so much! These are three of my closest friends! What could be better than dinner with them??

Wednesday, June 3
My ward friends, Jenni, and I all met at the Blackridge Reservoir for some sun and fun. It really was a complete blast! My sweet Ricki at lots and lots of sand. Can't wait for those sandy diapers! :)

Thursday, June 4
Tonight was SO FUN!!!! It was Jessie Price's birthday so I sent out some texts and rallied some gals together to kidnap her. This army of women showed up at her son's soccer game, unannounced, and took her away! We went and saw Pitch Perfect 2. It was a whole night of laughter, chatter, and fun! Thanks to this evening, I have been inspired (and threatened with death) to read the Harry Potter series. Wish me luck!

Friday, June 5
We were supposed to go swimming at the Fraser's for their last day of school but the pool was closed for some maintenance so we ended up at the Herriman library instead. After playing super heroes, picking books, and checking out, we went to McDonald's for drinks and playtime on the Play Place. It was a fun day with all of these crazy kiddos and my BFF!

Saturday, June 6
For background noise when I'm working around the house, I started watching How I Met Your Mother again. This is one of my favorite lines in the whole show. Oh Barney!

Sunday, June 7
My poor sweet girl has had a tummy ache since Thursday night. She threw up all day on Friday, lied around all day Saturday, and just when I thought she was starting to feel better, she said her right side hurt really bad. That scared me so I took her to InstaCare at Riverton Hospital. They did a urine test and an abdominal test. The doc said that she's fine, just a normal stomach bug. He said that it's going around and causing stomach cramps that last for several days. I hope she gets feeling better quickly.
