Last week of school! Hooray!! Today we had a "Pirate Picnic" at the splash park with Kendra's class. Afterward, we went to Nick's classroom to view their class movie. I love being at the school with my kids. I can't wait until next year when Zack goes to preschool so I can volunteer regularly again...although I'm sad Zacky only has one more year at home before Kindergarten.

Nick's and another class had a program today called "Rumpus in the Rainforest". It was such a cute program and his sweet teacher made me cry. She just loves Nick! I'm really sad (well, and happy at the same time) that this school year is coming to an end. Big thanks to Dave and my mom for coming to it. The support of our family means so much to us!

Last day of school! These are pics of Nick's first (right) and last (left) day of 3rd grade and Kendra's first (left) and last (right) day of 1st grade. Wow, we made it! And look how much Kendra has changed this year!!

We played hard today since we had NO SCHOOL! We went to the reservoir with the Olson's but it got rainy so we ended up at Arctic Circle for yummy ice cream cones. The baby in the picture is Bridgett but if you look carefully in the background, that's my Ricki "enjoying" her first bite of ice cream. :)

First thing this morning, I got a call asking if Nanny's old flower couches were still for sale. Why yes, they still were! The people ran out right then and bought them. Yay! Our room is ready now for it's update!!
After that, we went downtown on Trax to Temple Square. We met the Merrill's and the Hortin's there. We walked around and got a personal tour by Doug who was the groundskeeper for several years at Temple Square. It was a fun but slightly exhausting day!

Kendra had her final gymnastics performance today. It was so fun to watch! She has come such a long way in a year! My parents rented a park up in the canyons so we had an outdoor camping-type day. We had linner, a fire, and s'mores. Amie came up with us too so it was a fun day all around!
Sunday, June 14
This was Zack's first primary talk ever! He was so cute and did a fantastic job! The topic was "The Holy Ghost Helps Me Make Decisions".
