Monday, July 20
I left this morning to go to Vegas for the 2015 Scentsy Family Reunion. I dropped the kids off to my mom and sister and they went to the Hogle Zoo for a fun day. I spent 6+ hours in a car with some fun ladies that I had just met. At Reunion, they fed the Directors and higher a very nice meal at MGM Grand and prepared us for what was coming in the next few days. This should be fun!

 Tuesday, July 21
This was the first official day of Scentsy Family Reunion. I am staying with Gary & Alexis for the week. It was a full day of sessions at the MGM followed by an AMAZING concert by One Republic. I didn't think I would know any of their music but to my surprise, I knew every song! I loved them!! Plus, I got to meet some of my fellow team members and that was nice to connect with them too.

Wednesday, July 22
While mom is away, the kiddos will play! I was busy listening to Heidi and Orville Thompson (our President and CEO) talk about the awesome new products that are coming out while Simon took the kids to the summer movie.

Thursday, July 23
It has been a complete pleasure getting to know all of these wonderful ladies. Several of them are on my own team and I loved hanging out with them, being rowdy with them, learning with them, and even enjoying some ice cream on the strip. I'm sad that it is already coming to an end.

Friday, July 24
The gals that I rode with got up with the sun to come home from Las Vegas so that we could participate in Pioneer Days festivities. We went to the West Jordan rodeo grounds for the pioneer celebration. Ricki loved the fireworks!

Saturday, July 25
I spent basically the entire day working on these. They are journals with strips of paper with journal prompts on them. I am sending them up to girl's camp with the young women's president. Hopefully the girls enjoy them. They were sure a lot of work!

Sunday, July 26
Look at these cute little friends at church! I hope they grow up as besties! We also did Kendra's nails today to get ready for her first day of school tomorrow. :)

Monday, July 13
Here we go again...tournament #3. We had games today at noon and then 4:00 so we went with the team to Subway for lunch in between. This crazy kid decided to eat an ENTIRE footlong! The only problem was, it was 100° outside and that made him sick during the second game. He pulled through though. The team, unfortunately, lost the first game but won the second. We move on to tomorrow's games.

Tuesday, July 14
My favorite day of the year! My birthday? NO. Christmas? NO. Free Chick-Fil-A for dressing like a cow! Yay!! This is a fun annual tradition for our family.

Wednesday, July 15
Final day of this tournament! We found out today that there were 16 teams to begin with, all in the first or second place for their cities. All but 4 teams were eliminated prior to today. Our first game was intense but we pulled through with an 8-point lead. That put us in the championship! Again!! It was another edge-of-seat, play-by-play, nail-biting game but in the end, we lost. :*( Another second place finish for our very talented team. No more baseball until fall ball starts. Great job Herriman Vipers!!

Thursday, July 16
Simon took his birthday off so that we could have a chance to go to Cowabunga Bay before our summer runs out. We had a very fun day together at the Bay and soaked up all the time we could get in the park. We topped our fun day off with Cafe Rio for dinner. Happy birthday babe!

Friday, July 17
We had a fun fishy birthday party for Zacky boy. We had Zack, Chase, Tommy, Thacker, Halle, Chloe, Ace, and Eva. It was a fun party with fishing, bean bag tossing, and pinning a fin on a fish. :) It was really really very fun! Happy birthday to my boy!

Saturday, July 18
Realizing my birthday was 2 months ago, we went to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday dinner. :) It was super fun having a double date with mom and dad!

Sunday, July 19
We just can't get enough birthday celebrations around here! We celebrated my mom's birthday at Sunday dinner. I thought I was so clever thinking to get her a lime tree for her birthday. The sweet little lady she takes care of, Virginia, beat me to it though. There sat a brand new lime tree when we entered the backyard. Darn it!

Monday, July 6
It's time to get my Ricki weight off. I'm done with my clothes not fitting and not having any energy. I went on a nice 4-mile run with the gals then topped it off with a yummy protein smoothy. Here's to getting fit again (and hopefully staying that way this time).

Tuesday, July 7
It's hard to resist when a little boy says, "Mommy, take a picture of me."! Love this little guy!!

Wednesday, July 8
BJ, Jenni, Trevan, and Jake all went to Lagoon and I watched the girls. We saw a movie, "Mr. Peabody", ate lunch, and played at home. Unfortunately, we thought it was a good idea to play with Kendra's beads. They had fun...until...Brielle stuck one in her nose! Ooops! I'm a great babysitter!! We got it out and everything was fine. :)

Thursday, July 9
Happy 4th birthday Zacky pie! Poor guy didn't have the best day ever. It started with a dentist appointment at 8:20 am, then off to deliver some Scentsy orders, and a stop at the store to get Kendra some much-needed shorts. I was ready to head home when I realized, this day hasn't been any fun. I let Zack choose where to go and we went to McDonald's for lunch. Tonight, we left the birthday boy with Dave & Viv and went to Snowbird for a Sandy Chamber event with Gary & Alexis. It was so fun to be with them and have a chance to visit. We even rode the tram to the top of the mountain and it was beautiful (and freezing cold)!

Friday, July 10
This is just a little representation of things I did today. I have so much to do right now, we spent the day at home working on some of it. I am always grateful for home days because they seem to happen infrequently.

Saturday, July 11
We had a ton of fun at Simon's MACU Lagoon Day. We made it a family event and even took Baby Ricki. I was shocked and amazed at how brave both Kendra and Nick were. We had a total blast, ate good (and best of all FREE) food, and spent the day as a family. I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday!

Sunday, July 12
It's actually Ryan's birthday but I couldn't pass this picture up. How cute is he?!?!? We celebrated Ryan's, Simon's, and Zack's birthdays with Alexis' famous amazing chocolate chip cookies. YUM! It was my first dessert/sugar in a whole week so wowie - it was SOOO good! :)

Monday, June 29
Another wonderful day in paradise! We shared a Diet Coke with dad!

Tuesday, June 30
Swimming by day, family night activity by night. Mom did a super cute activity with noodles, water, and food coloring showing how our friends can affect our lives. The kids had a blast!

Wednesday, July 1
I went with mom, dad, and Jake on a really cool drive up onto a huge plateau where they perfected the ejection seats for fighter jets years ago. We also got an amazing view of Zion's National Park and collected a ton of petrified wood. It was so fun!

Thursday, July 2
Dad took us on a really cool 3-mile hike to see ancient Aztec petroglyphs. The hike was perfect and the petroglyphs were so cool!

Friday, July 3
Another super fun day of swimming, eating, and fun! Mom brought a 4th of July craft to do. We had vinyl stars that we stuck to our shirts then used the eraser end of a pencil to dab paint around the stars. We didn't know what we were doing at first but they got better as we went along.

Saturday, July 4
Happy Independence Day! We had a fun-filled day starting with a parade in the morning, a carnival, a concert, and fireworks in the evening. Check out our cute shirts too. :)

Sunday, July 5

Happy birthday to my amazing mom!!! Too bad we had to spend her birthday driving home from St. George! We are sad to leave but thankful for the amazing week we had!
