Here we go again...tournament #3. We had games today at noon and then 4:00 so we went with the team to Subway for lunch in between. This crazy kid decided to eat an ENTIRE footlong! The only problem was, it was 100° outside and that made him sick during the second game. He pulled through though. The team, unfortunately, lost the first game but won the second. We move on to tomorrow's games.

My favorite day of the year! My birthday? NO. Christmas? NO. Free Chick-Fil-A for dressing like a cow! Yay!! This is a fun annual tradition for our family.

Final day of this tournament! We found out today that there were 16 teams to begin with, all in the first or second place for their cities. All but 4 teams were eliminated prior to today. Our first game was intense but we pulled through with an 8-point lead. That put us in the championship! Again!! It was another edge-of-seat, play-by-play, nail-biting game but in the end, we lost. :*( Another second place finish for our very talented team. No more baseball until fall ball starts. Great job Herriman Vipers!!

Simon took his birthday off so that we could have a chance to go to Cowabunga Bay before our summer runs out. We had a very fun day together at the Bay and soaked up all the time we could get in the park. We topped our fun day off with Cafe Rio for dinner. Happy birthday babe!

Friday, July 17
We had a fun fishy birthday party for Zacky boy. We had Zack, Chase, Tommy, Thacker, Halle, Chloe, Ace, and Eva. It was a fun party with fishing, bean bag tossing, and pinning a fin on a fish. :) It was really really very fun! Happy birthday to my boy!

Realizing my birthday was 2 months ago, we went to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday dinner. :) It was super fun having a double date with mom and dad!

Sunday, July 19
We just can't get enough birthday celebrations around here! We celebrated my mom's birthday at Sunday dinner. I thought I was so clever thinking to get her a lime tree for her birthday. The sweet little lady she takes care of, Virginia, beat me to it though. There sat a brand new lime tree when we entered the backyard. Darn it!
