Apr 18-24

Monday, April 18 - I was out running errands and got a call from Simon. Kendra's bike needed new thorn proof bike tubes. He had me stop at Canyon Bicycle and I was pretty proud of myself for getting the right thing. Haha!

Tuesday, April 19 - The kids are about to go back to school and we haven't hardly done anything fun so today, we went to the dollar theater and saw "Kung Fu Panda 3". It was super cute! I was glad we did that.

Wednesday, April 20 - We went with Jenny and Anna Nyholm to the Church History Museum to see their new children's area. It was really cool! I want to take them back again soon!

Thursday, April 21 - We are going to start mowing grandma's lawn every other weekend. It's time to teach Nick how to mow and I am excited to spend some time with grandma. The kids really enjoyed the treats and popsicles that grandma bought.

Friday, April 22 - Nick was dying to try out his new kayak so when we finally had a 70 degree day, we headed over to the reservoir. Nick could have stayed all day long! Summer can't come soon enough!

Saturday, April 23- Happy birthday sweet Kendra! We had an "Inside Out" party with her and her friends. It turned out really fun!

Sunday, April 24 - We were on the way over to Dave & Viv's for Sunday dinner when Simon spotted this car at the church parking lot. We actually know the owner from when Ryan was preparing to go on his mission so we stopped to see if there was anything we could do. They had to call a tow truck to get it out then fix the body that was damaged from both rolling into the ditch (without a driver) and being towed out. We felt so bad for Shane!

Apr 11-17

Monday, April 11 - We had a fabulous day of vegging in the sun! It was a warm and beautiful day at sea!! After dinner and the show, Dave & Viv called it a night. Simon and I walked around the ship for a while then realized that they were showing the new "Star Wars" movie under the stars so we started watching it. About half way through though, Simon was sound asleep and I was getting tired too so we went to bed. I love watching movies under the stars though!

Tuesday, April 12 - It was a beautiful day in sunny Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! We did a little shopping at the shops at the port and went to visit Inez and take care of my ring. Then we walked around a building and voila, we were on the beach! We threw our towels down and hung out on the beach until well into the afternoon. I could stay on the beach forever!

Wednesday, April 13 - Our second port of call was Mazatlan, Mexico. We had had enough sun and lounge time, this day was all about the sight-seeing and shopping. We took a taxi to the Mazatlan Divers and watched them for a few minutes. Then, we walked through the streets a little to buy souvenirs for the kids. We visited the infamous open air meat market, which still gives me the same heebeegeebeez it did 10 years ago when I saw it for the first time. We also got to call the kids at my grandma's house. It was nice to hear their voices and know that they were doing okay. Back on the ship for another fabulous evening of dinner and a show.

Thursday, April 14 - Our last port was Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I think Cabo will forever be one of my favorite stops. However, it was extra awesome this time! Simon and Dave got to go parasailing and got some amazing pictures. Then, we took a glass bottom boat out with a waitress from our ship for the tour of the famous Cabo landmarks. Our tour ended at Lover's Beach where we were FINALLY able to get off the boat and hang out for a while! (This is my 5th time to Cabo but 1st to be able to get off the boat on Lover's Beach!) It was totally worth the wait! It was breathtaking! Tonight was formal night so once again, we got dressed up and had a fabulous formal dinner with Dave & Viv. I'm going to miss dining with them every night! What a wonderful day!

Friday, April 15 - First of all, happy birthday to my beautiful girl Mickendra and my wonderful Grandma Howard! I felt horrible not being able to call my girl on her big 8th birthday (we were at sea all day so I really could not call her) but I knew she was at home being spoiled by grandma and grandpa. I liked this picture we took of the ship in the hazy background. It really feels like this picture...a dream! Well, it did until we hit super rough waters and experienced what an 18-story ship feels like in 18' swells. It was a little less fun but didn't ruin our trip. :)

Saturday, April 16 - And just like that, it's over. We woke up at our port in Long Beach, ate breakfast, then got off the ship. Our flight didn't leave until 3:30 in the afternoon so we rented a car and went to the beach. They were having a super cool teen sailboat race so we stood and watched them for a while. It was really very interesting. Then back on the plane and back to reality!

Sunday, April 17 - Jenni's boys taught this sweet kid to ride a bike without training wheels while he was at their house on Thursday! I was shocked when my mom sent me the video of him doing it!! He couldn't wait to get home and have his daddy take his training wheels off so that he could ride his bike! Also, check out his super cool new Batman shoes. Thanks grandma Sandi for the new wardrobe all of my kids acquired at your house! :)

Apr 4-10

Monday, April 4 - It's cruise preparation week! Viv and I went late to get our toes done. I haven't had a pedi in ages. It was wonderful! Can't wait for Saturday!!

Tuesday, April 5 - I did a lot of fingernails today and so did Ricki! She's pretty much the cutest nail tech I've ever seen!

Wednesday, April 6 - I'm super crazy busy getting ready for the cruise so...I spent my day getting Kendra's invitations ready. :) (Actually, I spent my day on the couch or in bed with the barfs but I still had to get something done!) Kendra is having a birthday party the Saturday after we get home from the cruise so I felt like we needed to get them out this week. Also, she will be baptized the following Saturday so I just got both of them done at the same time.

Thursday, April 7 - We have some jewelry business to take care of in Puerto Vallarta next week so in getting ready for the cruise, we took a picture of mom and dad's picture so that we would know what Inez looks like when we go. We have purchased several pieces of jewelry from her and she's our favorite to work with!

Friday, April 8 - I spent much of my day today getting the kids packed and ready to go. I also finished all the laundry so as things were coming out of the dryer, I would put them on my bed to decide what to take with me. It was a full day of packing and taking the kids to my parents but we got it all done! Bring on the sun, food, and relaxation!

Saturday, April 9 - Cruise day has FINALLY arrived!!! YAY! We flew JetBlue super early to Long Beach, California then boarded our cruise ship, The Crown Princess. We bought drink cards, ate lunch, and even had time to squeeze in a nap before dinner!

Sunday, April 10 - Even though the weather was a little chilly and overcast, we had a nice relaxing day on some lounge chairs by the pool. Tonight was formal night so we dressed up for dinner and the show. This is seriously heavenly!

Mar 28-Apr 3

Monday, March 28 - Mom took the McCullough's, Kenny & Katie, and our family swimming for family night. It was so fun! I didn't know how Ricki would be now that she's older but she did great! Thanks for the fun evening mom!

Tuesday, March 29 - So...I got a WAY newer version of Photoshop!! YAY!!!! I'm currently using Photoshop Elements 5 so 13 is a magnificent upgrade! :) Can't wait to start using it!!

Wednesday, March 30 -This cute girl and I got to sleep in a little bit today. We went to lunch with Grandma and Jim but not until 11:30. :) I love my morning cuddles with her.

Thursday, March 31 - At the end of a long day, don't you just love to curl up in a laundry basket with clean laundry, your blankie, a Wii pad, a sippy cup, and a baby doll sippy cup? No? That's weird cuz this girl does!!!

Friday, April 1 - We only tried to play one prank today and it was a fail! We tried to make Jell-o in the shape of a Diet Coke bottle but it didn't work for us the way it does for the dude on YouTube. Go figure! :) I went to lunch with my cute cousin Mindi. Of course I forgot to get a picture of us together! She is having a baby in 5 weeks!! She is such a doll. I love spending time catching up with her. We don't do it nearly often enough!

Saturday, April 2 - General Conference is happening right now so while the boys were at Priesthood Session, Marisa and I went to the park with the kids. They were pretty good until suddenly, they weren't! We thought it was fun to put Bridgette and Ricki in a swing together. They actually didn't love it as much as it seems. :)

Sunday, April 3 - Do these pictures even need a caption? Seriously, my friend Andrea is THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER!!! She captured Kendra like no one ever has. I love her beautiful face! I can't believe my baby is almost 8 and going to be baptized!
