Monday, April 23 - I, unfortunately, was stuck in jury duty all day...just to find out that I wasn't selected to be on the actual jury! In the meantime, my ward friends took care of Zacki for me and even got him to Oakley's birthday party. Luckily, I made it home from downtown in enough time to catch Zack's baseball game against the Giants/Chase's team.

Tuesday, April 24 - Ricki had a preschool field trip to the Equestrian Park this morning. It was sad, she was terrified of all of the horses! She did fine as long as I was holding her. After that, we met Kendra at the school for her birthday lunch table. She's such a sweet girl and it was a pleasure to get to sit with her and visit during lunch today!

Wednesday, April 25 - Cute Zack played the position of catcher at his game today. How cute is he all dressed up like that?!?

Thursday, April 26 - First thing this morning, Kendra was in the fourth grade Utah This is the Place program at school. It was so cute! Afterward, I met all these ladies at Zao at the District to celebrate Marisa's birthday. It was super fun and way yummy! Happy birthday Marisa!

Friday, April 27 - I joked with Simon that I was going to get my hair cut today and Jenni's new do had inspired me! It was true, I did get my hair done today but just a color and trim. :) 

Saturday, April 28 - Our spring tulips are all coming up right now and they are super fun. Ricki is a little obsessed with them and loves to "mell" them. :) 

Sunday, April 29 - Happy birthday Amie! Seriously, this girl has been through so much but has taught me so much through that process. She's a great friend and the best "support spouse" out there! Happy birthday to my BFF!!!

Monday, April 16 - It's time for a new computer! I can't handle how slow and awful this all-in-one is so I am taking it apart today and getting a new one!!

Tuesday, April 17 - Cute little Oakley came over to play with Zack and the weather was beautiful! They went outside and played almost the entire time she was here. I'm so proud of her! She was always really hesitant to come over because she is terrified of Dori but just lately, she's been okay with her. She's such a great girl!

Wednesday, April 18 - Poor Zacky went to his first baseball practice and didn't have a baseball glove that fit him! Not my proudest mom moment! So we went to Walmart today and he picked this out. He's one happy camper player now!

Thursday, April 19 - Jenni got 18" cut off today! Look how cute her new cut is!

Friday, April 20 - Simon and the kids went out and worked on the swing set today. We had some different ideas about where to put it in the yard but we finally decided to put it on the lower section of the yard on the North side. I really like it there! The kids were more than excited to go out and play on it. Unfortunately, it wasn't completely set up until it was pretty much dark out. Tomorrow! :)

Saturday, April 21 - It's magical tea party time again! Look how cute and fun mom's "Under the Sea" party is! She always goes way out on these parties and makes them super special! Our little princesses had a blast!

Sunday, April 22 - I had lots of fun making BJ's birthday cake today. Jenni gave him garden planter boxes so I played on that theme and made him a mini garden cake. :) Happy birthday BJ!

Apr 9 - 15

Monday, April 9 - The kids and I got up, got ready, and left for St. George around noon. We went with Viv, Ashley, Henry, and Ruby. We got there a little later than everyone else so the kids and I headed over to Panda Express for dinner. The food was good, the scenery better, but the company was the best!

Tuesday, April 10 - We rented a condo from VRBO and it had an amazing pool! The kids went crazy!! This is the life, relaxing by the pool and napping with my girl! I just love a vacation!

Wednesday, April 11 - "Mom! Mom! See if you get a picture of me in the air when I jump!" Haha! They are just in heaven!! We do hang out at the condo too but most of the time, you'll find us next to the pool or eating yummy food!

Thursday, April 12 - Even though this trip has been short, we discovered something - Zack and Ruby have a special connection. Ruby is so cute around Zack. She follows him around and looks right at him when he talks. She's such a little doll! Love her to pieces! The kids and I went to Walmart on Tuesday and bought the movie, "The Greatest Showman". They watched it several times here at the condo and then twice on the way home! I think to say that they like it is an understatement!

Friday, April 13 - Kendra's school class participated in a program with STEM called Box City. Her teacher sent out an email before they went off track encouraging us to go to the Salt Lake Library between Monday and today to see it. We drove all the way downtown, went in, and couldn't find her class's project. Come to find out, they took them down first thing this morning. That was frustrating! They did let us go in the room that they were keeping them until the schools came back to get them so we were able to see a little. Tonight, these awesome kids got a big surprise! All four of their combined birthday gifts - a new Lifetime swing set! They are so happy!! It's been a good week!

Saturday, April 14 - Happy birthday to our sweet Rubes! We got to go to her birthday party at Ryan & Ashley's house. She was so so cute with her little cake. At one point, she even put her mouth right on the cake. :) We love this girl!

Sunday, April 15 - Happy birthday to Kendra and Grandma Howard! We celebrated Nick and Kendra's birthdays with the Howard side today. I got grandma a German chocolate cake from Smith's bakery to enjoy since it is her actual birthday today. It was fun to celebrate all of this plus my cousin Angie was in town and came too. It really has been such a great week!!!

Monday, April 2 - Getting ready to celebrate the kiddos with an emoji party! I found this blank template online. :) I love Photoshop!!

Tuesday, April 3 - I love Kendra's birthday list! My most favorite is her "high hills". I told Jenni that she can either get her high hills or high heels. Either way, she'll be happy! I remember when I was Kendra's age, I asked for a fishnet shirt. However, I accidentally forgot the "r" in shirt...that bday list is still in my scrapbook! Thanks mom! :) 

Wednesday, April 4 - Marisa and I took the kids to the Thanksgiving Point Curiosity Museum today. They had so much fun and I enjoyed my time visiting with Marisa!

Thursday, April 5 - Wondering what the heck happened to Nick's phone? KENDRA happened to Nick's phone! :( Last night, Kendra and Savannah were out in the driveway timing themselves to see how long they could hula-hoop. When his phone died, Kendra set it on the bumper of Simon's truck that was in the driveway and went in to get my iPad instead. Fast forward an hour or two, Simon drove over to the Nyholm's to pick Nick up. This morning, Jenny Nyholm forwarded me these pictures and asked if it was Nick's phone. Heather Bennion had found the phone in front of her house and texted her neighbors to see if they knew whose it was. Yup, the phone made it on the bumper from our house to the Nyholm's and then down the street to the Bennion's before it fell off. We were lucky he took his truck to pick up Nick instead of leaving it in the garage until he went to work today. We probably would never have seen it again! Now, on to the task of getting a new screen.

Friday, April 6 - We are getting new neighbors! Yay!!!! :) 

Saturday, April 7 - Zack and I braved the rain for Nick's game this morning, got all set up and comfy under the umbrella in the pouring rain, and then they cancelled the game! Grrrrr! At least we had a fun evening with the Pearson's touring the newly remodeled Jordan River Temple during the open house. It was really nice to be there together and get to answer questions that Dave & Viv had as we walked through. 

Sunday, April 8 - We had the Pearson's over for Nick and Kendra's birthday celebration! They got spoiled rotten, as usual! Happy birthday cute kids!!
