Mar 26 - Apr 1

Monday, March 26 - Happy birthday to Amy Erickson! We met up and kidnapped her from home. We went over to Jessie's for cheesecake and laughter! Love these ladies!

Tuesday, March 27 - For book club, we read "A Wrinkle in Time". It just came out as a movie too so we went to the movie then came back to my house and discussed it. The general consensus was that no one really loved the book or the movie but it was fun to be together anyway.

Wednesday, March 28 - We went to lunch with Grandma Howard then went shopping for the kids' birthdays too. I wish we would have gotten a picture with Gma but instead, I got about 60 (or more) photos of Ricki's face and the clothing racks at Carter's. :) Tonight for young women's, we had a paint night. I just love being with these girls!

Thursday, March 29 - Nick and his buddies are trying to finish up their service for a merit badge so I took them for a two hour shift at the DI. They enjoyed being together and sorting through the donated clothes. Later tonight, we took Nick to Texas Roadhouse for his birthday dinner. I still can't believe I have a 12-year-old!

Friday, March 30 - So...this happened. I was summoned for jury duty! I've never done it before but I guess it's my turn. Funny enough, Erin was on jury duty earlier this week so I guess they must be hitting up our area.

Saturday, March 31 - My parent's ward does an Easter Egg Hunt each year and they rely on grand kids coming because they only have a handful of children in their ward. My kids LOVE it because there are hundreds of eggs and only a few kids. Afterward, we went to my parent's house, died eggs, then went to Las Glorias for lunch. This is one of my favorite traditions and is just further proof that summer is on its way!

Sunday, April 1 - Happy Easter! I just love our Easter traditions. We hunt for eggs and baskets in the morning with just our little family. Usually Dave & Viv come over but Dave wasn't feeling well so Viv came alone. After church, we went to my parent's house and had another egg hunt. Each kid got at least $5 in their eggs and they were thrilled! I love Easter!
