Jun 18 - 24

Monday, June 18 - For our Monday adventure this week, we went down to Provo to the Bean Museum. My kids and I have been there before but no one else had. It's a pretty cool museum, very interesting, and free! Bonus, it's just around the corner from the BYU creamery. They have the best ice cream and ranch dressing. We got ice cream while we were there then purchased ranch dressing to bring home. Yum!

Tuesday, June 19 - Back to the reservoir again! I figured that we should come as much as possible before they start detecting algae blooms in it. :)

Wednesday, June 20 - The young women went to Manti tonight for the Mormon Miracle Pageant. We got there in time for the famous turkey dinner, went to the show at the temple, then slept at the Manti park in tents. I haven't seen the pageant since I was a teenager so it was really fun to be there and to be together as a youth group.

Thursday, June 21 - Nick was able to go to Lagoon again with his friends. I just love that he's out, away from electronics, and building relationships with good kids!

Friday, June 22 - Simon's cute boss Kathy sends cards for every event in her employee's lives. She sent a personal card to Ricki, and Zack on their birthdays. Ricki was thrilled to get a piece of mail. Look how cute that is!

Saturday, June 23 - This was an intensely busy day! We started out first thing at the Herriman Parade.  As soon as that ended, I took Kendra to Brynlee's birthday party and Zack to his baseball swim party at the Riverton pool. We had to leave both early to get up to Provo Canyon for Finley's 2nd birthday. It was at a cute little park up the canyon. Even though it was busy, it was a fun day!

Sunday, June 24 - Happy birthday to our sweet Ricki! I can't believe she's already 4!! We celebrated both Ricki and Zack's birthdays with the Howard side at the splash park. The cupcakes are cute but they didn't taste super great and they were a stressful pain to get over to the park! :)

Jun 11 - 17

Monday, June 11 - Mom's cute neighbor came over and taught us a technique that her mother taught her. It's pressing flowers then using them to make greeting cards. The kids absolutely loved it!

Tuesday, June 12 - Today was momentous for two reasons. First, Zack and Ricki started swimming lessons with Joe Goldhardt and they both loved it! Second, Simon and I took Kendra to Olive Garden tonight for her birthday dinner. It's been a great day!

Wednesday, June 13 - This didn't exactly happen today but I got the picture today. Ricki and I went to the Economics Fair for fourth grade last week. One of the economics projects was to take pictures of visitors. Kendra and Savy's booth was rice bags. They did a great job!

Thursday, June 14 - Jenni, Meg, and I took the kids to the Blackridge Reservoir today. I know I say it all the time but I seriously just LOVE summer! Look at all of those happy faces! :)

Friday, June 15 - Kendra has been wanting her nails painted for weeks now so I finally did them today! We know it was early but we did Fourth of July nails. :)

Saturday, June 16 - The kids and I needed to get out of the house. We were going stir crazy and Simon was busy working in the basement so we walked to the gas station. Now, when I walked there with my friends every other morning, it felt like it took about 10 minutes to walk there. With four kids in tow, it took about an hour to walk that mile! It was fun and the kids were excited to get some treats. We even stopped at the splash park on the way home.

Sunday, June 17 - Oh the men in my life! Happy Father's Day to them all! Even the ones puffing their chests out! :) Poor Dave has had a hard time lately. He went to the hospital last night because he was so dizzy, he couldn't stop throwing up. We stopped by Riverton Hospital to visit him today and wish him a happy Father's Day.

Jun 4 - 10

Monday, June 4 - My kids are still in school but Jenni's kids are out and I bought our summer movie passes so Jake, Halle, and Brielle came with us. Yay for summer! It's finally here!!

Tuesday, June 5 - Zack's class participated in the Kindergarten program this morning. It was seriously so cute!! After the program, we went back to Mrs. Smith's classroom and watched as she handed out end of year awards. What a fun morning!

Wednesday, June 6 - I dropped the ball on Kindergarten Field Day a little and only had two other moms show up to help with games. Oops! Luckily, Tommy, the Custodian, came to the rescue and turned on the sprinklers so the kids could run through them. Everyone ended up soaked but they had so much fun!

Thursday, June 7 - I had to get my blood drawn this morning because they checked for Cushing's Disease. I have a lot of the symptoms but my Cortisol levels came back normal so it appears that I don't have it. I'll keep going back to the doctor until we figure out my migraines and other symptoms.

Friday, June 8 - In celebration of the last day of school, Jenny Nyholm took Nick, Dylan, Colten, Wil, and Jackson to Lagoon! We ended up getting Nick a season passport since so many of his friends will be going all summer. Oh to be 12-years-old!

Saturday, June 9 - My sweet mom and sister came out for Nick's baseball game this morning. I loved being there with everyone and supporting our boy! In the meantime, Simon stayed home and got a huge thing done in the basement. He has installed the second electrical panel, which was necessary because I insisted on having a dryer, refrigerator, and microwave in the basement. :) Hooray for progress!

Sunday, June 10 - Look at these beautiful flowers! I love watching the new blossoms open in the spring. This picture makes my heart happy!

May 28 - Jun 3

Monday, May 28 - Simon cut his long hair on the trip in Bear Lake. I like his hair shorter. I think he looks nicer and more clean-cut with his short hair. And happy birthday to Grandma Sharon today!

Tuesday, May 29 - Ricki gets a little bored at Nick's baseball games so she plays games on my phone. Before I know it, she usually has the camera on and takes a million pictures. In this instance, she said "Mom, wook! Take a selfie with me!" Haha, silly girl!

Wednesday, May 30 - I had the wonderful opportunity to go to the temple for Nick's first baptisms with him. We took all of the youth tonight and it was actually Nick, Colten, Max, and Parker's first time too. It was really amazing being there together!

Thursday, May 31 - Marisa invited us to go to the splash park today. Ricki kept telling me that she was hot but I thought she just felt hot because the weather is getting warmer. Well, after getting her dressed in her swimsuit and getting all ready to go, she said it again. Suddenly, it dawned on me that maybe she isn't feeling well. I took her temp and yup, we're staying in all day! :(

Friday, June 1 - I can't believe that this is the only picture I took but Dad took Simon, Mom, and I to a work dinner at Dave & Busters. They provided us with a buffet dinner and a gift card to go around and play games. It was really fun and nice to go on a double-date with my parents! Plus, it was all free so extra bonus!

Saturday, June 2 - I just can't get enough of this kid and this sport! We have a lot of fun supporting these boys!

Sunday, June 3 - We celebrated Grandma Sharon's birthday at Sunday dinner tonight. It is also Kenny & Katie's first anniversary today! It's been a great day of celebration!
