Jun 11 - 17

Monday, June 11 - Mom's cute neighbor came over and taught us a technique that her mother taught her. It's pressing flowers then using them to make greeting cards. The kids absolutely loved it!

Tuesday, June 12 - Today was momentous for two reasons. First, Zack and Ricki started swimming lessons with Joe Goldhardt and they both loved it! Second, Simon and I took Kendra to Olive Garden tonight for her birthday dinner. It's been a great day!

Wednesday, June 13 - This didn't exactly happen today but I got the picture today. Ricki and I went to the Economics Fair for fourth grade last week. One of the economics projects was to take pictures of visitors. Kendra and Savy's booth was rice bags. They did a great job!

Thursday, June 14 - Jenni, Meg, and I took the kids to the Blackridge Reservoir today. I know I say it all the time but I seriously just LOVE summer! Look at all of those happy faces! :)

Friday, June 15 - Kendra has been wanting her nails painted for weeks now so I finally did them today! We know it was early but we did Fourth of July nails. :)

Saturday, June 16 - The kids and I needed to get out of the house. We were going stir crazy and Simon was busy working in the basement so we walked to the gas station. Now, when I walked there with my friends every other morning, it felt like it took about 10 minutes to walk there. With four kids in tow, it took about an hour to walk that mile! It was fun and the kids were excited to get some treats. We even stopped at the splash park on the way home.

Sunday, June 17 - Oh the men in my life! Happy Father's Day to them all! Even the ones puffing their chests out! :) Poor Dave has had a hard time lately. He went to the hospital last night because he was so dizzy, he couldn't stop throwing up. We stopped by Riverton Hospital to visit him today and wish him a happy Father's Day.
