Nov 30 - Dec 6

Monday, November 30 - We've had our tree up since Thanksgiving but it has taken two full days to get the rest of our Christmas decorations up. We have so many, it's a process taking all of our normal décor down and putting all of the Christmas up. I'm happy to report it is all done!

Tuesday, December 1 - For school today, Ricki had to not only learn to tie a shoelace, we had to record her doing it and send the recording to her teacher. She learned really quickly and was able to do it over and over several times! I'm always impressed at how quickly these kids pick up on new things.

Wednesday, December 2 - These are kind of random pictures but the first one is at Liz's house at work this morning. She got her picture of Christ which is the same one that I ordered on Black Friday. I am so excited to get mine!! This afternoon, Kendra and I went shopping and picked up a few things for mom too. :) Since she isn't going into stores, I have shopped for a few things for her including these jammies for Kam.

Thursday, December 3 - Yesterday it was Kendra's turn to go Christmas shopping for her siblings, today it was Zack's turn. Since I don't get a lot of one-on-one time with my boy, we stopped by Sodalicious and got him a cookie and drink. :) He was a happy camper. Plus, we got all of his shopping done so it was a win-win situation!

Friday, December 4 - Ricki couldn't handle that all the other kids have been shopping but not her yet so I finally was able to take her. We went to the dollar store and she shopped her little heart out (then came home and told Kendra everything we got...including what she bought for her!). Oh Ricki!

Saturday, December 5 - We all got together for a social distancing party at a park to celebrate Jenni and Katie's birthdays. Mom brought hot cocoa and donuts, the kids played, and the girls opened gifts. Then, at our designated time, we went to the Equestrian Park and drove through the Christmas in Color display. It was such a fun evening spent with, although apart from, our family.

Sunday, December 6 - We had an at-home, low-key Sunday. We enjoyed dinner together then watched the First Presidency's Christmas Devotional on TV. It was beautiful and thought-provoking. I just love listening to hearing from President Nelson. He is so inspiring.
