Monday, November 29 - Herriman City put on a Christmas Family Night with music, reindeer, and even Santa and Mrs. Claus. We took Dave & Viv over with us and enjoyed an hour or so of the festivities. This gets us so excited for Christmas and the fun season ahead of us!
Tuesday, November 30 - When I put my two week notice in with Liz, I told her that I would at least get her and the new girls through Black Friday shipping. We got so much done yesterday and then finished everything up this morning by noon. It was so hard to leave but I am looking forward to having more time with my kids and a less restricted schedule. Hooray for new horizons!
Wednesday, December 1 - My heart, emotions, and spirituality have been all over the place and I knew I needed a date with the temple! I went alone and spent some time by myself in the Celestial Room. It was just what I needed for peace and comfort as I am sorting out my feelings and getting back on my feet.
Thursday, December 2 - December Bunco is the best! This year, it was at Robyn's house and it was amazing! They have finished their basement and just like the rest of their house, it is incredible! She had these chairs that reminded me of the Godfather. I want one just to have serious conversations with my kids sometimes. Haha! It was a good and fun night. Again, just what my soul needed!
Friday, December 3 - I came home from work to this little surprise! At first, I didn't know who sent me Crumbl Cookies but I finally found out that it was Andrea Child. That was so sweet of her and our friendship definitely needs some mending if we are to move forward but the gesture was very kind...and yummy!
Saturday, December 4 - We had a very busy day but it was jam-packed with fun! We started the day off at our ward Christmas party. We had some issues keeping track of Kendra...which is why she isn't in these pictures...but overall, it was a good time. Then tonight, we threw Jenni a 40th birthday celebration! We did it at her house and invited current friends as well as friends from her past. It turned out really great and Zack (& Simon) even got to sit in Tom Larsen's new Corvette. They were in heaven! It was a great day and hopefully a memorable one for my wonderful sister!
Sunday, December 5 - It's official, she's 40! I can't believe I have a 40-year-old sister! Haha! We celebrated tonight at my parent's house. Jenni got to pick the dinner and it was yummy! After dinner and presents, the kids delighted us with a skit based on Dr. Seuss's "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". It was mostly them giggling while they tried to deliver their lines but it was cute anyway! :) Happiest of birthdays to my dear sis!!
