Nov 28 - Dec 4

Monday, November 28 - All good things must come to an end. Us ladies met up with Katie at Cubby's today for one final lunch before they flew out this evening. It was hard and sad saying goodbye. The hard thing is that we don't know when the next time we will see them will be. Tonight, I swallowed my anxiety and went to a ward party. Jessie had a big combined birthday party for Robin, Regina, Melinda, and Erin. I made my appearance, exchanged pleasantries, then came home. That was enough for one day. :)

Tuesday, November 29 - I was sitting at my kitchen table tonight and looked over to see this. This is just a glimpse into Nick's calculus. He has such a brilliant mind! He's so good with mathematics and deep intellectual thought. I hope he is able to use these skills in his future for making a living!

Wednesday, November 30 - Jenni had a second arm surgery today. This one is to hopefully help relax her hand so that it isn't so tight all the time. She seems to do great with these surgeries. She's down for a day or two and then back to normal!

Thursday, December 1 - I didn't take any pictures but it was a really busy day. This morning, I baked a ham for a funeral in our ward. It was Sister Clayton's elderly father's funeral. When I got home from taking that over, I worked non-stop all day getting everything ready, and cooking another ham, for bunco tonight. It was my "regular" group with my mom. This time we had it in the basement and it worked out so great! We had plenty of room and it was really nice!

Friday, December 2 - The Utes played an incredible game tonight! The game was played at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas (the Rader's Stadium). They won 47 - 24 against USC giving them the Pac-12 title and earning them a spot in the Rose Bowl! Way to go Utes!

Saturday, December 3 - Simon and I dropped the kids off to Dave and Viv then hopped on a plane bound for sunny California! We met up with Ryan and Ashley for a fun-filled weekend! We haven't done anything big for the past few years for our anniversary so we decided to hit up an NFL game. Simon has been wanting to go to the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles so we bought tickets!

Sunday, December 4 - The main event! We watched the Rams vs. the Seahawks. Something interesting is that this is only our second NFL game ever but also the second time seeing the Seahawks! :) We had such a blast at the game! It goes so much faster when you are in the stadium, in person, watching. It was a blast and we are already talking about when we can go to another game! Happy (very late OR very early) anniversary to us!
