May 8 - 14

Monday, May 8 - I don't know if I have posted about this already but I am working for Liz again! I am her photography assistant and I am loving it! I have enjoyed working with the model moms again and especially working with Liz!

Tuesday, May 9 - Kendra had a second hearing test today to confirm the results from the other Audiologist and get the ball rolling toward a resolution/hearing aids. This one was done by Primary Children's Hospital and they actually said that she has mild/moderate hearing loss in her right ear but moderate/severe in her left. I am so sad about this but also glad we are getting it figured out!

Wednesday, May 10 - Simon let me know on Sunday that he needed a craft for their combined young men's/young women's activity tonight. They want to make something for Mother's Day. After much Googling and Pinteresting, I decided they should do custom magnets for their moms. It's useful, it's cute, and a pretty inexpensive craft. I think it turned out well but I did spend my entire day running around getting the supplies to make it all come together.

Thursday, May 11 - Mirinda Losee has had a hard week. First of all, her cat left and hasn't come back and if you know Mirinda, her animals are her life. Then, we found out tonight that we are being released as a Primary Presidency. :( Change like that is hard so I thought she needed a basket of sunshine to cheer her up. :) This afternoon, I went to the school to see Zack's 5th grade play. It was really cute and creative! Good job Blackridge 5th grade!

Friday, May 12 - Simon buffed out the scratch on Nick's car and tried to pop the dent out the best he could. We don't really want to go to a body shop that is going to charge an arm and a leg for work on a teenager car. We don't want to have Debbie have to pay for that. I think we'll leave it as-is. It really looks pretty good! Tonight, Kendra and Payton were hanging out and they wanted a treat so I surprised them and took them to the new Handel's at Mountain View Village. So yummy!

Saturday, May 13 - We tried to plan a primary activity in conjunction with the Herriman Pedal Palooza this morning. We only had the presidency's families plus one other family come. :( That's too bad because it was really fun and Ricki got a nice new bike helmet for free! She had a blast hanging out and going around with the Horne kids though. Tonight, Henry had a soccer tryout at the RSL facility in Herriman so Ashley asked if we could watch the girls. Of course! Love those kiddos!

Sunday, May 14 - Happy Mother's Day to all of the mammas! I sure do love this crew here and am so thankful to be able to be their mommy!
