Monday, August 7 - Kendra had a wild hair and made these ginormous cookies! :) Yum! In the meantime, Ricki was painting in my office and came out to tell me that she spilled a little paint on the carpet. Not sure how this is "a little paint" but I was able to get most of it out using rubbing alcohol.
Tuesday, August 8 - Zack is guest playing in a tournament this week so I took him to his game in North Salt Lake this morning. When that was over, we met this crew at the movie theater to see the new Barbie movie. I was so excited that Nick was willing to come with us and I felt bad when the movie was less than awesome. The girls liked it though and it was fun to be together. After the movie, we went to a couple of Parade of Homes houses. What a fun day!
Wednesday, August 9 - I started seeing a Nutritionist and the first item of business was to get me exercising again. I have been coming down for about a half hour and walking and/or jogging on the treadmill. We really need a new treadmill but for now, I'll use what I've got.
Thursday, August 10 - We got together again to do more Parade of Home-ing. It was super fun and we saw a lot of houses along the way. It seems like Salt Lake County is getting only interested in building high density homes that have three or four floors on top of each other. It's interesting.
Friday, August 11 - I made these fun birthday cookies for Julie Clayton in our ward. I auctioned off cookies for our youth fundraiser and she was ready to cash it in this weekend for her birthday. I hope she likes them!
Saturday, August 12 - Marisa had tickets to the Parade of Homes this year too so we headed out to try to see a few more before the Parade closed today. I took a bunch of goofy pictures but my favorite is my "Jenni look-alike" pic of sitting on furniture holding a sign that reads, "Don't sit on the furniture". Haha!
Sunday, August 13 - Celebrating my sweet kiddos with the Pearson side today was perfect! They got presents, dinner, and spoiled! We had a great time and it was extra fun being outside. It got a little rough when the boys decided to try to light a fire with an emergency bracelet...and succeeded. Haha! They had lots of fun!
