Sep 28 - Oct 4

Monday, September 28 - Simon is getting this 4-wheeler all ready to sell. It has had problems running since we got it and he is tired of working on it all of the time. We might sell it to Kenny; fully disclosing the problems it has. He spent some time tonight getting it running and washing it. I think if we can sell it, we will get a newer automatic wheeler for the family.

Tuesday, September 29 - I got all of my food and books for a new diet program I am starting on October 1st. It is called Optivia and I'm super excited to get started. Say hello to most of my food for the next month!

Wednesday, September 30 - We had a Zoom Iron Chef for Young Women's tonight. Jenny Nyholm dropped off a cake mix and some frosting and each girl could use anything in their kitchen/house to make a cake creation. Kendra decided on not only a tie-dye frosted cake but tie-dye inside too! The girls loved it and it was a fun activity!

Thursday, October 1 - Today was the first day of my new diet so it was kind of a rough day. However, it was a fun evening so it all worked out. Lori Buckner is in town from Georgia on business and we needed a last-minute sub so mom invited her to come. She was so fun to hang out with! Bonus: I got four Buncos and won both most buncos and the traveling prize! So fun!!

Friday, October 2 - Today wasn't such a great day. I had to have my very back molar pulled on the top left (#15). It was pretty uncomfortable during the process and now I have a bone graft and stitches that have to heal. It was a rough afternoon. Also, in way sad news, Katie's "step-sister" Harlie was found unconscious from an overdose and they did everything they could do for her but she passed away. They kept her body alive so that they could donate her organs but otherwise, there is no brain activity. This is just such a horrible situation. I feel so bad for Heather, Brian, and Katie's whole family.

Saturday, October 3 - We watched Kenny & Katie's kids this morning so that they could go to the hospital to be with Harlie's body before they take her off of life support. These sweet kids brighten our house and make us so happy! Kayla found this super noisy plastic ghost in our Halloween decorations and she was obsessed with it! She kept shaking it to make it start over with the noise again. So cute!

Sunday, October 4 - Ryan and Ashley invited us over for dinner tonight after General Conference. They did a BBQ and we just sat outside in this unseasonably beautiful October weather and enjoyed it! It has been such a wonderful weekend!
