Apr 26 - May 2

Monday, April 26 - Happy birthday to one of my very best friends! Today was Marisa's birthday so us girls went out to lunch to celebrate. It was super fun and way yummy! Love this little friendship group we have!

Tuesday, April 27 - Book club was kind of awesome tonight! Marisa won books for our whole book club from one of her favorite authors, Heidi Kimball. As she was messaging her, she mentioned that she would love to have her come to our book club. Ironically, Heidi was just moving from New Hampshire to Utah this month and did commit to coming. Sweet! So, she came and I happened to sit right next to her. We went around the whole room and introduced ourselves to her but because I was sitting next to her, I was last to go. I told her my name and she said, "I think I know you. Did you grow up in South Jordan?" I was like, yes. She said, "We went to Bingham together". All she had to say was, "I'm Heidi" (which I already knew) and I totally knew who she was! Her maiden name was Balls and I did, indeed, go to junior high and high school with her! What a small world! So then I extra-enjoyed this book club and visiting with her. She's a cute lady and so fun to be around. I hope she'll come back to our book club again in the future!

Wednesday, April 28 - I felt like we waited so long for these tulips to finally open but now that they have, they are beautiful! Every time I pull into my driveway, I enjoy looking at them and seeing their beautiful colors. :) They make me happy and bring me joy knowing that spring is here and summer is just around the corner.

Thursday, April 29 - Poor Kendra keeps texting me from school that she has a headache. She fell off a rope swing back on April 9 and hit her head. Not too bad but enough that it gave her a headache then. Since that day, she's been complaining of headaches and taking Ibuprofen and Tylenol pretty much every day. I got a text from her this morning saying she has another headache and enough was enough, I took her in. Of course, they think it is a mild concussion and she is supposed to stay off electronics and movements like jumping on the tramp for two weeks. That is what I assumed it was but I wanted to check it out with a doc. This afternoon, I went to Ricki's class to decorate the door for teacher appreciation week and that is always fun. Later tonight was High School Orientation (eek!). We met up with the Moon's, listened to the Counselors talks, and then walked around the school. I can't believe I will soon have a high-schooler! It's surreal!

Friday, April 30 - Today, we got to celebrate Ricki's BFF's birthday! Bridget just 7! I'm so glad these cute friends are so close and have so much fun together!

Saturday, May 1 - The day has arrived! Alex and I threw Amie a Murder Mystery "Murder at the Pizzaria" party. It was super fun and I think everyone that came had a good time. The group photo is everyone that came except for Adam; he left before we took the group pic. It was super fun though! My BFF is 40! In fact, pretty much everyone in my life is either 40 or turns 40 this year! Haha! While I was setting up for Amie's party, Zack had a blast going to a park with all of his friends and celebrating Charlotte's 9th birthday. It was a good friends day!

Sunday, May 2 - Dinner was at Mom & Dad's house tonight. Jenni grabbed this picture of me and sweet Halle and I just love it. She's a darling girl and I am proud to call her my niece! Love you Halle Bug!
