Monday, July 26 - We had a really big day at work! We sent out as many orders as we typically do on a Black Friday! So awesome!!! Tonight, we took Nick to Texas Roadhouse for his birthday dinner. He loves this place so it was fun to take him and get to visit with just him for a little bit. (And yes, we are a LITTLE late for his birthday dinner. It's just how this year is going!)
Tuesday, July 27 - I have been working so much and the kids' summer is just flying by so when I got home from work today and they wanted to go swimming, I couldn't say no! We went for a couple of hours and got home in time for Zack to shower and get ready to go to his first official fall season soccer practice. They had a blast and I enjoyed sitting on the side listening to my book.
Wednesday, July 28 - Jenni and the kids came over so that I could do Jenni's toenails. The kids had fun coloring and hanging out and I think Jenni's toes turned out really cute. :) Brielle ended up staying the night and Kendra went home with them for a sleepover. Having cousins so close is so fun!
Thursday, July 29 - Nick had a camp to go to so after I went walking with the girls, I took him over to the church. Little turkey wouldn't hug me goodbye so I embarrassed him by yelling across the parking lot that I love him and will miss him so much. I then ran to him and threw my arms around him.
Moms! Am I right?!?
Friday, July 30 - What a great day! Mom had to get her dogs groomed out this way so we met at Kneader's for breakfast. I just love being with my mom and sister. They are so great! Tonight, Simon got a box of cookies from his boss to celebrate his 17 year anniversary with Mountain America. What an accomplishment! Then tonight, the girls, Mailey, the Olson's, and I went to see CC Keel in a production of Aladdin Jr. It was so cute and CC did such a great job! Ricki loved it! I need to take that girl to more plays!
Saturday, July 31 - It has been a long day full of working in the basement, helping new neighbors move in, and cleaning the house (like ALL day). Finally, at dinnertime, we didn't know what to do so we fell back on ole' faithful - Chili's. The kids love it, the adults love it, and everyone is happy!
Sunday, August 1 - We celebrated Zack and Ricki's birthdays today with the Pearson's. They got spoiled and everyone, besides Henry, had a good time. Poor little Henry had a stomach ache and ended up sleeping most of the evening on the couch. Other than that, it was a fun party!
