Sep 18 - 24

Monday, September 18 - This was an eventful day! McKaylee and Austin Price both left for their missions and I just can't imagine how my mom heart would feel so I took her a comfort basket to help her get through. It had a journal, a pen, Sun Chips, Mambas, a New Book by Michelle Obama, chocolate, tissues, mint chocolate chip ice cream, a drink tumbler, Crystal Light packets, and a missionary mom necklace. I hope this brings her a little joy in this otherwise difficult moment in life. When we went to drop it off to her, I had to get a picture of Kendra and Carter. They are in Homecoming week so there is a theme every day. Today was "Monochromatic Monday". :) Then tonight, we had the Blackridge Elementary Color Run - our school's annual PTA fundraiser. The kids always have such a blast but man, it's a mess!

Tuesday, September 19 - Today's theme was Ken & Barbie. I can't think of two cuter kids for that!

Wednesday, September 20 - This morning was Marilyn's funeral. It was sad because she's gone but happy because we got to remember her and talk about/hear about fond memories with her. My most fond memory with Aunt Marilyn was when I dropped some Scentsy off to her and she invited me in. We took a little tour of her house and then got sodas and went out on the back porch to visit. She was a delightful woman and will be missed! Tonight for youth activities, the kids played "Where's Waldo". Simon was with Kendra and Payton so he got these cute pics with our camouflaged ward members. :)

Thursday, September 21 - So...I went to a workout this morning. It didn't go well! I had to leave early because I thought I was going to throw up! I'm glad I tried it though. It was hard...but I can do hard things.

Friday, September 22 - Simon, Zack, and Kendra went to the Mountain Ridge football game tonight. Kendra went and hung out in the student section so Zack and Simon sat together and had fun at the game.

Saturday, September 23 - Homecoming is here! Carter and Kendra looked so adorable! Love them! Nick went with Sescily and they are so cute too! I am so glad

Sunday, September 24 - We had another "Treats on the Street" activity tonight so we stayed home for Sunday dinner and went to this with our neighbors. I didn't take pictures but it ended with Zack, Ricki, and a bunch of neighborhood kids jumping into the Williams' pool! It wasn't exactly warm enough to be swimming but they didn't care! :)
